"Do you understand now? This is the secret of demon reincarnation!"
Liang Bing looked at Wang Shu with an exceptionally serious expression. It was hard to connect her to the Demon Queen.
After listening to a long string of academic topics such as divine bodies, cellular structures, reorganization, and decomposition,
Wang Shu more or less understood most of the secrets behind demon reincarnation.
Divine bodies involved the microscopic level and atomic manipulation. Generally speaking, the higher the grade of a divine body, the more cells it could control on the microscopic level, and the stronger the divine body became.
The secret of demon reincarnation was to inject all of a creature's Gene Data into a single atomic cell of a divine body.
Based on the concept of "cellular immortality," it controlled the consciousness and found a living host to parasitize.
Of course, some parasitizations failed, producing monsters that were neither human nor ghost! Genuine demons, some even without consciousness.
"It is not without reason that Holy Kesha banned this technology and opposed demon theory," Wang Shu muttered.
This involved moral boundaries. Holy Kesha and the Justice Order would never allow it to exist.
But Liang Bing had no taboos and did not care about such things!
"Sometimes, even when you know something is wrong, you still keep doing it. Do you know why?" Liang Bing asked.
"I don't know." Wang Shu shook his head.
"We have no choice. We can only keep moving forward!" Liang Bing sighed.
"What do you mean, no choice? You're the mighty Demon Queen. No one forced you to choose. In the end, you simply want too much and are too selfish." Wang Shu smiled.
"Damn it, can't you be less blunt? Do you have to make so much sense?"
Liang Bing, who had just put on a melancholy expression, could not help becoming furious.
"I've always spoken honestly. I don't hide things behind embellishments," Wang Shu said.
"Is that so?" Liang Bing was noncommittal.
"By the way, Liang Bing, you've lived for over thirty thousand years. Haven't you found a man you like?
"If you had a man, you might not spend every day trying to outwit Kesha like you do now," Wang Shu asked.
Liang Bing's qualifications were not bad either. She had everything she could want, so why was she still single in the end?
"I am a higher life-form, the Demon Queen. I don't need one! Besides, who would even be worthy of me?" Liang Bing raised her proud head, her face full of arrogance.
"Is that so?"
"@☆@☆..."
At that moment, a phone ringtone sounded. Wang Shu took his phone from his pocket. The caller was Shangguan Wan, and he immediately answered it.
"President Shu, Reina and Miss Anna were taken away by a suited man named Jace. He claimed to be your friend and said he was from the Homeland Extraterrestrial Organization Security Bureau, a state agency."
After hearing this, Wang Shu frowned, then said,
"Got it."
He then hung up, looked at Liang Bing, and said,
"Something came up. I'm leaving first."
"No one's stopping you. Leave if you want," Liang Bing said carelessly.
"But let me remind you: don't cause trouble on Earth." Wang Shu looked Liang Bing straight in the eye.
"Hmph. If I, the Queen, really wanted to cause trouble, do you think you could stop me?" Liang Bing feigned disdain.
Seeing this, Wang Shu said no more. With a wormhole transfer, he vanished from where he stood.
"Second-generation wormhole transport. He Xi really was willing to teach him that." Liang Bing fell into thought.
A thousand years ago, during the third Holy War between angels and demons, the angels had only possessed second-generation wormhole transport technology.
She had been the first to develop third-generation wormhole technology. That was also why she had dared to launch a Holy War and directly attack Angel City.
But after so much time, with He Xi's intelligence and the data gathered in battle, she had surely developed the Third Generation Wormhole Algorithm by now.
Yet He Xi had taught Wang Shu the Second Generation Wormhole Algorithm a thousand years ago. Their relationship was clearly anything but ordinary!
"Queen, why were you with that kid?"
A Tuo, who had been helping reincarnated demons sort through their memories, could not help approaching after Wang Shu left.
"I don't know either, but I feel very relaxed around him. I can be completely uninhibited," Liang Bing said.
"But, Queen, he is connected to the angels after all!" A Tuo said, looking at Liang Bing with concern.
"That's a separate matter! We still have to fight when it is time to fight, but before that, we need to recruit some fresh blood." Liang Bing seemed to think of something, wisdom glinting in her eyes.
It was like fate. Liang Bing was obsessed with defeating Kesha!
But if one asked her why, it was not some complicated issue. She simply found Kesha irritating!
Could the demons' fall and freedom truly be the future of the universe?
Although she always said so, Liang Bing did not dare guarantee it. Perhaps it was merely wishful thinking.
Somewhere in Giant Gorge City, inside a secret meeting room.
Led by Jace, Reina and Anna arrived in a spacious room.
At the center of the room stood a silver oval metal conference table, with chairs arranged in a row around it.
Directly in front of the conference table was a huge projection screen.
Not long afterward, a straight-backed, unsmiling middle-aged man entered through the door.
He was accompanied by a beautiful woman in a rose-red uniform with golden hair.
The man had thick brows and large eyes. Even without anger, he exuded authority and looked very stern.
At the sight of him, Reina frowned slightly, because he reminded her of that old fossil Pan Zhen.
The two were especially alike in certain ways!
"Reina, I'm Du Kao. This is my assistant and genetic engineer, Lian Feng," Du Kao said first.
A smile appeared on his previously stern face, making him seem much more pleasant and, at the very least, not intimidating.
"I don't know you."
Reina carefully considered whether there were any officials surnamed Du in the Fiery Sun, but after racking her brains, she found that there were none. Then she said directly,
"General Pan Zhen and I are old acquaintances. I have also been on Earth all these years, so it is normal that you do not know me," Du Kao said.
"General Du, I assume you did not invite us here merely to reminisce," Anna said calmly, her gaze tranquil.
"Miss Anna, you really do have a personality very similar to Wang Shu's," Du Kao said out of nowhere.
"You know Wang Shu?" Di Reina immediately became interested.
"You could say we are old friends. By Earth's reckoning, it has been about a thousand years. By the Fiery Sun's reckoning, it has been around ten years," Du Kao said.
"But Wang Shu never mentioned you to us!" Di Reina said.
"..."
"Are you all aliens?" Anna asked. Ever since entering this room, she had noticed many unusual things.
Radiating outward from this place, the Dark Energy in the surrounding area was far too active!
Not only was Du Kao unusual, but even his assistant Lian Feng did not feel like an ordinary person to her.
"Yes. We were all once homeless wanderers of the universe. It was only after we encountered Earth, this beautiful planet, that we settled here," Du Kao said with a hint of sadness.
"Tell us. What did you bring us here to discuss?" Di Reina had no interest in hearing Du Kao's story.
"Reina, did General Pan Zhen ever mention the Black Great Wall Plan to you?"
Pan Zhen looked at Reina and asked softly.
