Outside Tianhe City Police Station.
After Di Reina, Anna, and Shangguan Wan came out, they saw a gleaming Black Beast parked before them.
A man in a black suit and sunglasses stepped out of the car.
His expression was stern and meticulous, and he stood ramrod straight like a pine tree.
"Who are you?"
Shangguan Wan did not recognize the suited man before her, nor had she sent anyone from the group to pick them up.
"My name is Jace. I belong to the Homeland Extraterrestrial Organization Security Bureau," the suited man said.
"You wouldn't happen to be from that Mystic Bureau, would you?" Shangguan Wan asked.
The Hate People League in the West was not exactly a secret. As for the Mystic Bureau, it did indeed exist, an organization dedicated to recruiting people with special abilities.
"More or less. Our chief has invited Miss Reina to discuss some matters," Jace said.
"Huh? You know my name?"
Di Reina was puzzled. Then, sensing unusually active Dark Energy within Jace, she could not help saying, "You're also a super—"
Before she could finish, Anna grabbed Reina's arm and signaled with her eyes, stopping her from letting anything slip.
Only then did Di Reina react. She became deeply interested in the matter. She had not expected that she was not the only alien on Earth.
Wasn't the man before her one too?
"No. Reina is President Shu's younger sister, and I don't trust your identity either," Shangguan Wan immediately said.
Did he think he could take someone away from her side with just a few words? Wasn't that a little too easy?
"Miss, President Shu is also a friend of our chief. Please believe us."
As Jace explained, he took out his identification.
"Shangguan, it's fine. I'll go with them and see what's going on," Di Reina said.
"But..." Shangguan Wan hesitated.
"No buts. With my strength, I can take on ten people like you," Di Reina said, signaling for her not to worry.
"..." Jace.
Soon after, Di Reina and Anna got into Jace's Black Beast together.
Shangguan Wan stood where she was, unable to move forward or back, her delicate brows tightly furrowed.
Inside the car.
"Jace, how did you know this goddess's name?" Di Reina asked.
Jace drove with a serious expression and replied,
"General Pan Zhen has been in contact with our chief before. He once mentioned you."
A look of understanding appeared on Di Reina's face. She had come to Earth with Pan Zhen several times before.
But back then, Pan Zhen always left her in one place while he mysteriously went elsewhere for several days.
When he returned, he never said anything.
At the time, she had been captivated by Earth's novel things and had not found anything unusual about it.
"And this young lady is?"
Jace looked at Di Anna through the rearview mirror, at this equally beautiful and charming girl.
There had been no information about this girl in their intelligence, and Pan Zhen had not mentioned her either.
"My cousin Anna," Di Reina said.
"So it's Miss Anna. You share the same identity as Reina, then," Jace said.
Anna remained aloof, responding only with things like a nod or a quiet "Mm."
Unlike Reina, she was not so carefree that she would reveal all her secrets after just a few words.
The Black Beast sped along quickly. With its special photography clearance, it raced through the roads without obstruction.
"Why have you been following me?"
Liang Bing looked impatiently at Wang Shu beside her. He had tailed her from the very beginning, making it difficult for her to do anything bad.
"You're an infamous demon leader. Who would believe you wouldn't cause trouble on Earth?" Wang Shu said casually.
"Damn it!" Liang Bing cursed under her breath.
Seeing this, Wang Shu merely smiled and said nothing. Liang Bing was all alone now; the Demon Soldiers in her hands probably had not even been revived yet.
Given her personality, she would probably soon start looking for humans to reincarnate.
"Are you deliberately trying to oppose me?" Liang Bing's gaze gradually darkened.
"No, I'm saving you, understand?" Wang Shu said.
"Saving me? What a joke. Then tell me, how are you saving me?" Liang Bing sneered.
"What do you think of Earth?" Wang Shu asked.
"It's very good, very beautiful. Queen is planning to turn it into her second home," Liang Bing said without hiding her purpose.
"Since it's your home, shouldn't you cherish and protect it?" Wang Shu said.
"Mm, that makes sense." Liang Bing thought his words were reasonable.
"What if someone destroys it now?" Wang Shu said.
"Who would dare? Queen will wipe them out!" Liang Bing said murderously.
"Isn't the culprit right in front of us?" Wang Shu glanced at Liang Bing, his meaning obvious.
How could Liang Bing fail to understand that Wang Shu had set a trap for her? She said coldly,
"What do you mean?"
"Humans on Earth are part of this home. Does that mean Queen Morgana can treat them however she pleases?
"If I'm not mistaken, you plan to find some humans to revive the demons who died in the last Holy War," Wang Shu said.
"Queen is bringing them evolution, freedom, and depravity. Understand?" Liang Bing said.
"Don't dress up your own despicableness in such grandiose words!" Wang Shu said disdainfully.
"No, you're an alien too. Why do you care so much whether Earthlings live or die? Every day, if not ten thousand then at least eight thousand people on Earth kill each other. Are you going to interfere with that too?" Liang Bing asked.
"I only care about Hua Xia people. Why the hell should I care about anyone else?" Wang Shu said.
Liang Bing froze, her face going blank. But she quickly came back to herself and laughed.
"So that's how it is. Queen thought you were so righteous!"
At this point, how could Liang Bing not understand Wang Shu's meaning? Though she did not understand his purpose, Wang Shu suddenly seemed increasingly pleasing to the eye.
He had a bit of the potential to become a demon!
"Kid, want to come watch a good show with me?" A wicked smile appeared on Liang Bing's seductive face.
"This is the good show you mentioned!"
Wang Shu looked at the black demons before him, their reincarnation already complete. Each was grotesque and ugly enough to make him unable to bear looking at them.
"Of course. This is the evolution of life, nature's survival of the fittest. What a wonderful thing," Liang Bing said, a fascinated expression appearing on her face, devout and crazed.
Within a cloud of purple-black mist stood a dark-red, burly demon three or four meters tall, with a pair of tattered wings on his back.
This was A Tuo, the demon Wang Shu had slain during the third Holy War between angels and demons!
Now, through the reincarnation ritual, he had been revived once more!
"Queen, we failed again!"
A Tuo stood bathed in black mist. His deep, hoarse voice emerged, and with his demonic face, he looked utterly terrifying.
"A Tuo, failure isn't important. What matters is that you're all still here. At worst, we'll do it again. Queen has plenty of time to wait," Liang Bing said.
"Hey!" Wang Shu gave the demon A Tuo a kindly greeting.
Since A Tuo had just been reincarnated, his memories were somewhat hazy, and his mind had yet to fully process things.
When he looked at Wang Shu's familiar face and that friendly smile, distant memories slowly resurfaced.
It was an incomparably sharp blade erupting with towering flames!
A flash of cold light passed by, and A Tuo clearly remembered his head being cut off!
"Fuck!"
"It's that demon!"
As if struck by five thunderbolts, demon A Tuo's eyes gradually went blank!
