Background

Historical Rose

Rose survived the Yuan Army's massacre of Sunward City only because her parents died protecting her. Du Kao adopted her afterward; the event left her cold, revenge-driven, and unable to forget the violence she witnessed. She resolved to become strong enough to avenge the dead and protect others. 170 183

She spent several years traveling the Central Plains and studying under martial arts masters. By the time she met Wang Shu in Ge Family Village, she was an accomplished assassin whose attacks were fast, accurate, and ruthless. 172 173

Rose challenged Wang Shu to a spar and later attempted to use her Tang Clan Flying Knife Technique against him. Though Wang Shu defeated her without relying on Divine Power, he acknowledged her combat skill, experience, and composure. 173 174

Assassination of the Foreign Race Leader

With her country under invasion, Rose infiltrated the Foreign Race camp to assassinate its leader.
