But his daughter remained perfectly calm. "Lost the argument and want to take it out on me?"
"Who-who lost? I had that win in the bag!" Dad Li was immediately sidetracked, craning his neck as he shouted.
Dad Luo gleefully chimed in, "In the bag? You shouted yourself hoarse for nothing. Now you even need tea to soothe your throat."
"You..." Dad Li choked on their retorts, finally managing only an exasperated,
"Why don't you all team up and send me to an early grave!"
The moment he finished, Li Sifan stood up with his glass raised. "Calm down, Dad. Anger is bad for your health. Besides, my marriage to Little Luo isn't even on the agenda yet. You can't..."
