The zombies' savage roars startled a flock of birds into flight.

The survivors in the women's dorm heard it too and were immediately terrified.

Xu Shan was trembling all over.

"Could it be... Lin Dong got eaten by zombies?"

"Possible. I heard a car earlier. Your boyfriend must've come and disturbed the zombies," said a burly male student.

"Looks like... your boyfriend really loves you. He dared to come looking for you despite such danger," said another tall, muscular student.

The three people with Xu Shan were all on the school basketball team.

Xu Shan had been a cheerleader, which was how they had gotten together.

"What do we do now? Lin Dong is such useless trash. He couldn't even deliver some food."

The student beside her twitched his ears and grabbed the steel pipe at hand.

"There seems to be movement in the hallway. Someone's coming up!"

The group instantly fell silent and listened to the sounds outside.

Just then, Lin Dong walked out of the dorm.

Tank and the Female Zombie did not attack again. Instead, they stood respectfully beside Lin Dong, their expressions somewhat ingratiating and somewhat proud, as if showing that they had successfully caught these prey.

Doctor Zombie was crouching on the floor, poking at a corpse with his nails and picking out its blood vessels one by one.
