She was also one of the Black Scorpion Organization's five leaders. Her name was Song Wenxi.
"Tek Company is pressing us for the trade. Now that Liu Shan has gone missing, lend me some Crystal Cores to deal with the emergency first," Tian Han said bluntly.
"Oh?"
Song Wenxi looked over with her bright eyes. "Why can't you cover it yourself first? You're a grown man, yet you're this stingy?"
"I'm doing this for everyone. It's good enough that I'm not asking for compensation, and you want me to front the Crystal Cores myself?"
Tian Han was extremely disdainful of that.
"Fine. I'll front them for you."
Song Wenxi did not argue further and took a small case from a cabinet.
"There are five A-Rank Crystal Cores and ten B+-Rank Crystal Cores in here. That should be enough, right?"
"Yeah, enough. Don't worry, it's not like I won't pay you back. I'll go trade with Tek Company, while you search the city for Liu Shan. Once you find him, get the Crystal Cores from him."
"Finding Liu Shan should be easy enough, but you'd better be careful. Don't let Tek Company swallow you whole."
Song Wenxi reminded him.
Of course, she was not worried about Tian Han himself. This involved everyone's shared interests.
