Elsewhere, Blood Fiend piloted the transport ship as it swayed and lurched back toward Eastern Province.
His subordinates had now withdrawn from the Alien Continent and were holding the Yellow Ridge Mountains along the border, preparing to reclaim Eastern Province's lost territory.
"Where did those guys go? Nothing happened to them, did it?"
Blood Fiend muttered to himself as he searched for his underlings.
Towering mountains rose below, stretching endlessly into the distance. As the transport ship sped onward, the scenery flew rapidly backward.
The Yellow Ridge Mountains covered far too vast an area. Blood Fiend could not sense his subordinates' auras and wondered whether they had gotten lost...
He immediately activated the aircraft's scanning system and began searching in every direction.
The equipment on this transport ship was naturally far superior to what he had used before.
Before long, it detected traces of zombies.
"Not gonna lie, high-end stuff really is useful..."
Blood Fiend hurried in that direction.
Several zombies wandered through a mountain ravine. Having gained quite a few benefits from the battle on the Alien Continent, they were not particularly hungry.
They only longed to return to Eastern Province as soon as possible.
A moment later, a rumbling sound came from overhead. A massive transport ship tore through the sky, rapidly approaching them.
The zombies looked up. The familiar shape was instantly recognizable...
"Look! It's the boss! The boss is back!"
"Huh? Didn't the transport ship break down on the Alien Continent?"
"Yeah! Where did he get another piece of junk this huge?"
"..."
Though the zombies were excited, they could not help grumbling inwardly.
Having seen a Star Destroyer, they simply looked down on all other aircraft...
With a thunderous boom, the transport ship landed ahead.
Amid the billowing dust, Blood Fiend emerged from within.
"Boss!"
