The two armed men had barely taken a few steps when they suddenly felt their ankles tighten, as if something had grabbed hold of them.

"Hm? What's going on?"

They looked down and discovered green vines wrapped around their ankles.

A tremendous force struck them. The vines yanked backward, rearing up like giant snakes and suspending the two men upside down in midair.

"Help! Help!"

"What the hell are these things?"

They hung upside down, struggling desperately.

More vines rose around them, shooting toward them like sharp arrows.

The vines pierced their bodies and began sucking greedily like straws. Their bodies visibly shriveled, on the verge of becoming two dried corpses!

Cai Jian and the others came to their senses and hurriedly turned around, only to witness the horrifying sight.

Having consumed a great deal of blood, the vines had turned scarlet. They dangled the two corpses upside down, dancing madly like blood-red serpents.

"What kind of monster is this?"
