Crimson Moon looked down on the chaotic battlefield and, in a fit of rage, used Marble Phantasm to summon an elemental storm.

Fireballs, lightning, ice arrows, and stone spikes rained down on the ground.

Indiscriminate elemental attacks fell from the sky, reaping lives across the battlefield without distinguishing friend from foe.

The Forest of Einnashe retreated underground and successfully evaded the barrage, but the others were not so lucky.

The Human Extermination Allied Army fared better. Activating their Moon-Landing Mystic Codes generated a defensive shield.

These shields could also stack. When thousands of people activated them together, their defensive power increased dramatically, actually holding off the barrage for a short time.

The Dead Apostles, however, had no such array of tools and could only rely on their own abilities.

Many Dead Apostles died not at the hands of the allied army, but at those of the Forest of Einnashe and Crimson Moon.

Yet the Human Extermination Allied Army was not out of danger. Crimson Moon unleashed another devastating attack, this time summoning an enormous meteor that covered the entire battlefield.

If the meteor struck, no shield, however powerful, could withstand it. The Human Extermination Allied Army would be wiped out.

Those who refused to give up desperately poured magical energy into their Mystic Codes, hoping to weather the blow.

But more had already given up. Some sank to their knees, while others began sobbing aloud, seemingly resigned to their fate.

Just then, a surge of pure magical energy swept in from another direction and struck the falling meteor.

Dust billowed, and in the next instant, the meteor shattered into rubble.

The fragments landed on the shield without causing much of a ripple. Everyone survived, including the Dead Apostles.

"Hahaha! Looks like this old man wasn't too late." A hearty laugh
