Avenger, Beating Up Gilgamesh

I had held back from using my Command Spells not only to destroy the Holy Grail at the end, but also for this very moment. The summoning chant was complete.

Minamoto no Raikou—correction, her True Name was Ushi Gozen. She had arrived as an Avenger. Another correction: I had returned to beat up that flashy bastard, my Master.

That was right. I had completely copied the Einzbern Household's method from the Third Holy Grail War and successfully summoned a Servant of the Avenger class. (There was no way I could summon a swimsuit Lancer, so I had no choice.)

I reviewed Mother's stats once more: Strength A, Endurance B+, Agility C, Mana A+, Luck C, Noble Phantasm B.

Skills: Demonic Oni God EX, Mana Burst A, Dojigiri Yasutsuna A, Avenger D, Oblivion Correction B, Self-Replenishment (Mana) A, Madness Enhancement EX.

Aspect of the Oni God A. (This counted as Divinity, so I made a few modifications. It signified that Minamoto no Raikou had descended as an Avenger for revenge, abandoning Divinity and converting it into demonic nature, greatly reducing the restraints of the Chain of Heaven and laying the groundwork for beating up Gilgamesh.) The massive mount controlled by the Great Divine Envoy—Ushi Gozen—instantaneously amplified Gozu Tennō's power explosively before delivering a devastating blow, a trampling attack. Massive weight, immense lightning, and enormous whirlwinds crushed everything within its effective range.

The massive mount controlled by the Great Divine Envoy—Ushi Gozen—received Gozu Tennō's berserk power and charged forward at full speed, accompanied by self-destruction caused by mana swelling to its absolute limit.

By launching an ultra-high-speed charge and radiating the lightning wrapped around it outward, it could inflict tremendous destruction across a vast area one kilometer wide and dozens of kilometers long. It prioritized attacks on cities rather than Heroic Spirits, so it had to be used with caution.

Her stats were slightly better than Mother's in her Berserker state. More importantly, she could recharge her own mana. I had upgraded from the Chinese server to the Japanese server—my revenge battle had begun.

I spoke. "Welcome back, Mother."

Ushi Gozen said, "My apologies, Master. In this form, I would prefer that you call me something else. Although I retain the memories from last time, I still cannot accept that form of address. I hope you will call me Ushi Gozen."

"I will kill every last one of your mortal enemies until your wish is fulfilled, my Master."

Looking at Mother, whose height had dropped to less than 1.6 meters, I felt mischievous and said, "All right, Mother. Then let's begin our revenge, Mother. Beat Gilgamesh up good, Mother."

Ushi Gozen said, "Emmm... as you command, my Master."

Sensing the Servant's presence, Gilgamesh and Mapo returned. They saw the Berserker who had appeared once again—no, she should be called Avenger now.

Gilgamesh spoke disdainfully. "A mere mongrel is still a mongrel even after changing identities. I gave you a chance, mongrel, but I never expected you to amount to only this much." His taunting began. "Then let me recreate your death once more! Hahaha!"

"Anyone who insults my Master must die." Before Gilgamesh's laughter had even ended, Ushi Gozen's fist had already smashed into his face. She was several levels faster than Berserker, and Gilgamesh was caught off guard and got punched.

Mother's A-rank Strength, combined with her opening barrage, left Gilgamesh utterly unable to fight back. She beat him into submission, and by the time he finally escaped her attack range, his face had swollen terribly.

He shouted, "Mongrel! You dare humiliate me like this? I'll kill you!" With that, he summoned the Chain of Heaven to attack Mother.

With peerless martial skill, Mother knocked it aside, repelled it, dodged it, and charged back in front of Gilgamesh to resume beating him up. Only during that beating did the Chain of Heaven finally entangle her.

The moment Gilgamesh saw that she had been bound, his spirits rose. "Mongrel, prepare to die!" Then Mother used Mana Burst, breaking free of the Chain of Heaven.

Gilgamesh said, "Impossible! How can it have failed? Could it be that you abandoned your Divinity?"

Mother said, "That is correct. This body belongs to the oni gods now. Your chains are no longer effective against me. My Master must be getting impatient. It is about time to end this battle."

"Noble Phantasm: Ugly. Whether heaven, earth, or the distant beyond, all that fills this shore are hideous, writhing vermin. Ox-King Reversal: Thunderclap and Fierce Gale! Disappear! Turn to nothingness!"

At that moment, Gilgamesh wanted to use the Sword of Rupture, but he could not cast it quickly enough. He could only deploy Rho Aias to defend himself.

Gozu Tennō appeared, and its front hooves came crashing down in an instant. Under the impact, lightning, and raging winds, everything around them was completely annihilated. When the dust settled, Gilgamesh was still alive, but his body was as ruined as it had been when he first beat Berserker.

Even so, he still said, "This time, I concede defeat. I acknowledge your strength. But the next time we meet will be your deaths." Then Kirei Kotomine, who had noticed the situation turning bad and slipped away early, used a Command Spell to summon him back.

I sighed. "I hope this taught him to rein in that arrogant personality of his. He needs to learn to start with the Sword of Rupture. Otherwise, no matter how many times he fights, he'll always lose." With that, the plan had succeeded brilliantly.

That was right. The original plan had been Plan A: fight head-on; Plan B: summon another Servant; and finally, Plan C: run for it.

Even cunning rabbits had three burrows, so naturally a battle plan needed several preparations. I had previously drawn a teleportation item that could send me away in four seconds, with Fujino and the others as the destination. If I failed, I would leave Fuyuki City and hide. Fortunately, Plan B had succeeded.

Otherwise, I would have had no chance to enter the final stage of the Holy Grail War. I could only have obediently become a coward hiding in the grass.

I called Mother back and put away Dojigiri Yasutsuna. The Western-style mansion had been completely destroyed, so I went with Mother to Fujino and the others.

Seeing Ushi Gozen's expressionless face, I casually teased her. "Good work, Mother. Thank you for avenging me, Mother." I made Ushi Gozen blush.
