I brought everyone into the Great Cavern where the Holy Grail lay and showed them the existence of the Greater Grail.
The summoning ritual's magic circle for the Holy Grail was already prepared. All that remained was to place the holy relics inside and recite the incantation.
Everything was ready; only the Command Spells had been awaited. I confirmed with everyone again, "In a moment, I'll use my authority to directly initiate the Holy Grail War. Then, all of you will receive Command Spells. The eighth mage nonexistent in Fuyuki City won't cause any deviations."
After receiving your Command Spells, take your respective holy relics into the magic circle and summon your own Servants. Once the summoning is complete, immediately communicate with your Servant so they don't accidentally injure their teammates. If they refuse to listen, use a Command Spell directly. Understood?
"Understood." ×6
"Then, the Fifth Holy Grail War begins. May victory be yours, everyone."
Using my authority, I initiated the Holy Grail War. At that very moment, Command Spells emerged on the hands of seven people, followed by seven incantations. I recited mine: "Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill. Repeat each time, and let five be fulfilled."
"Yet when each is fulfilled, let it be abandoned. I declare: let your body heed my command, and let my fate be joined with your sword. Answer the summons of the Holy Grail. If you would submit to this will and this reason, then respond. I hereby swear: I shall accomplish all the good in the world. I shall eradicate all the evil in the world."
"You who are wrapped in the Three Great Words of Seven Heavens, come forth from the Restraining Ring, Guardian of the Scales." ×7
During this time, I examined everyone's holy relics. Waver still had a fragment of Iskandar's cloak. Hopefully it wouldn't go off course and summon his teenage version. There was quite a gap between a five-star and a three-star.
Why did Rin's holy relic look so familiar? Wasn't that the largest gemstone I had given Tokiomi Tohsaka back then? So after I'd told her for an entire year, she still hadn't prepared anything. Serves her right for summoning Red A.
Sakura's holy relic was a set consisting of a ring and bracelet fused together. It was hard to say exactly what it belonged to. Sakura had clearly prepared carefully, but I couldn't tell its origin. It could only come down to luck. (There was no R-Sis here.)
Gray's holy relic was a spearhead. Could it be the spearhead belonging to Hound Bro? Had it somehow ended up in Gray's hands after all this circling around? Hound Bro's character was trustworthy.
Illya had a bone, though it was a little excessively large. (I couldn't find the specific holy relic used to summon Heracles.) It was obviously B-Bro's bone.
Shirou Emiya stood at the very center. In any case, he would definitely summon Spiky-Haired King.
If Marisbury could summon Solomon, there was no reason I couldn't.
As the incantations ended and the smoke dispersed, six voices said, "You are my Master." B-Bro answered with a roar.
The one Shirou Emiya summoned was still that young girl, only without a trace of moonlight.
Illya had summoned Heracles. Hopefully, she could immediately bring B-Bro under control.
Rin had indeed summoned Red A. It seemed that no matter how I altered the plot, what was meant to come would still come.
Waver's eyes reddened because he had truly summoned Iskandar.
Sakura had actually summoned Stheno, the eldest of the three sisters—the one with absolutely no combat ability. I had praised Sakura for nothing.
Gray had summoned Scathach, the genuine Lancer. That purple-haired old lady, I muttered inwardly. It seemed Hound Bro had failed to come off the production line.
I had indeed summoned Solomon, the King of Mages.
Solomon: Class Caster, Strength E, Endurance E, Agility B, Mana A++, Luck A++, Noble Phantasm A++.
Three A++ ratings—how splendid.
At that moment, a certain entirely golden person threw a tantrum. "That mongrel didn't summon me? I even paid the deposit!" (Golden Apple.) "This infuriates me! Forget it, we'll meet again anyway. I'll settle the score with you properly then."
The first reaction of every Servant was to warily survey their surroundings. Based on the information they had received, this should have been a chaotic battle among seven Servants. The simultaneous appearance of all seven left them somewhat bewildered.
I spoke up. "Heroic Spirits from distant ages, an unexpected issue has arisen in this Holy Grail War. This Holy Grail War is not for battle; it requires all of you to work together to save humanity."
The seven Servants directly communicated with their Masters about what had happened. The tense standoff immediately shifted into mutual discussion.
Seeing that the timing was about right, I said, "Our objective this time is to destroy the polluted Greater Grail. Please lend your assistance."
Iskandar was still the first to speak. "It has been a long time, Berserker's Master. I suppose I should call you Caster's Master now. I heard the details from Waver. Though I am unwilling, I will support you."
Spiky-Haired King spoke next. "We meet again. I have heard the details from my Master, and I now understand why Kiritsugu Emiya wanted me to destroy the Holy Grail. As a king who protects her people, I should lend my aid."
Illya said, "There's no problem on my end."
Was it because she knew she might die after this, and knew that Kiritsugu Emiya had not stopped loving her—that he had not brought back the Holy Grail for the sake of the world? Did she avoid recognizing Shirou Emiya because she did not want to make him sad? I felt sorry for Illya.
Rin and Sakura both stated that they had no objections.
Gray did not speak. Instead, Scathach said, "Helping you is no issue, but before that, I want a proper battle. If I had known this would be such a boring affair, I would not have come."
"Besides, there are battles of destiny among us. I have no intention of letting them end so carelessly." With that, she pushed Gray forward.
In truth, Gray had already felt changes in her body the moment Saber was summoned. Coupled with their identical faces, Saber might not have noticed beneath Gray's hood, but Gray had seen her clearly.
"The turning point of destiny my teacher always spoke of is here. I can't remain cowardly any longer." With that, Gray removed her hood.
Those who did not know the truth were all greatly shocked. To save time, I explained the entire sequence of events to everyone.
After learning the truth, Saber bowed and apologized. "I'm sorry. Although saying sorry may be useless, I never expected that even after my death, I would still cause you so much trouble. I should repay this with my life, but I have a mission now. So please allow me to linger on a little longer."
While everyone was discussing the matter, Solomon finally spoke. "Master, please allow me to say a few words."
I said, "Of course."
Solomon said, "First, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Solomon, the King of Mages Solomon."
"The Holy Grail has been polluted and can no longer grant wishes, so it does indeed need to be destroyed. I support Master's idea. However, if the pollution occurred in the manner Master described, then I have a method to remove the source of the contamination and restore the Holy Grail to its original state."
"However, there is risk involved. The chance of success is only around thirty percent."
Solomon's words shocked everyone, but no one doubted their truth.
