A barrier of infinite defense plus Artoria Alter's infinite-mana state equaled a head-on fight with Gilgamesh wielding the Sword of Rupture.

Credit where it was due: this Gilgamesh had opened with the Sword of Rupture. If he had kept putting on airs and saved it until the end, he would probably have lost already.

It helped that his Master was Tine Chelc, a girl in her teens and a guardian of the Land Clan. She was connected to Snowfield City's Ley Lines and could supply enough magic to keep him going.

Gilgamesh was not doing well. This Saber was not the King Arthur he knew, but her sword was unmistakably the genuine Sword of Promised Victory.
