The instant the anchor connecting the world appeared in the sky, it drew the attention of the entire magecraft world.
The Clock Tower, the Holy Church, and even interested parties among the True Ancestors were watching, to say nothing of the scattered families and lone wolves.
Somewhere in an unknown, hidden world, Kishua was sitting in a chair, resting with eyes closed, when a phone suddenly rang. Then a voice came from the other end.
"Hey, have you been keeping an eye on that world? If you don't take a look soon, it might get destroyed. Everything's gone beyond our expectations," the voice on the phone said anxiously.
Kishua said, "Honestly. First you tell me to leave it alone, then you tell me to check on it. Give me a break. All right, let's see what happened."
Kishua took a look, rubbed bleary eyes, then looked again, finally confirming there was no mistake.
"What's that guy doing over there?" Kishua casually opened a little notebook, turned to a page, and drew a huge X on it, marking that world as no longer requiring observation.
"One less world to watch means I can go watch one more. When will these days ever end?
"That kid might seem unreliable, but he's dependable when it comes to getting things done. I really hope he perfects the Third Magic soon." With that, Kishua went back to resting with eyes closed.
Kishua had spoken the first part into the phone and muttered the latter part under a hushed breath.
And so the little interlude in another dimension came to an end.
Everyone in the spectator seats lost their composure at the sight of that attack. Were both of them trying to destroy everything?
They could only hope the two attacks would cancel each other out
