"Your Majesty, there's still Spirit Hall, isn't there? It'll step in and put a stop to this eventually, won't it?" the empress said as she massaged Xue Ye's temples.
"Yes, there's still Spirit Hall. But what is it thinking? In the past, it would have stepped in and called a halt by now. Yet it hasn't made a single move!"
Xue Ye was baffled too. Why hadn't Spirit Hall stepped in to stop the war?! If it waited any longer, the Heaven Dou Empire would suffer even greater losses.
"Your Majesty, didn't the Holy Dragon Sect recently decide to help the Heaven Dou Empire?!" the empress asked.
"The Holy Dragon Sect? It did say it would help us fight the Star Luo Empire, but I can't see what it hopes to gain," Xue Ye said helplessly.
