He put A Detailed Explanation of the Bloodline Origin Ancestral Talisman and Overview of Extraordinary Magic Beast Transformation into the Scavenger Gourd and placed them on the shelf.
The knowledge in those two books was incredibly valuable. Three or four stories' worth, at least.
Though he had memorized everything in them, who knew what might happen over the long years ahead? He might forget someday. And even if he didn't, he could keep them in his collection to teach disciples and apprentices, perhaps printing millions of copies as textbooks.

Once that was done, Yin Ming finally opened the meditation room and stepped outside.
A full three days had passed since he returned to the Flame-Burners Association and entered the room.
In that time, all he had done was read two books. He hadn't even managed his daily meditation.
Wizards read quickly, but spending an hour deducing what they'd read every minute slowed things down. Getting out in three days was lucky. He hadn't hit any knot he couldn't untangle!

In just three days, the rubble from the collapsed buildings had been cleared away, and the new buildings were already taking shape. In another two days, the work would be well underway.
