"But there's bad news, too. We can't stop it. In ten years—ten at most—no elemental energy will remain on the Source Plane. I don't need to tell you what that will mean, do I?"

"Before evacuating the Source Plane, we kept one final planar teleportation array. A Third Ring Magic Plant, or extraordinary resources of equivalent value, will be enough to activate it."

"And to keep our fellow extraordinary beings from being treated as invaders, we'll throw in a fifty-year labor contract. That way, every wizard can feel at home on an unfamiliar plane instead of having no one to rely on."
