Killer Croc Awakens

"What?" Lois asked in confusion.

Because of Li Zu's strange question, she instinctively ignored the massive meat saw that had suddenly appeared in his hand.

Or perhaps she had seen too many strange things lately. Compared to that, Li Zu's magician-like tricks could no longer surprise her.

Li Zu continued, "In a moment, I'll throw something out, and you scream~"

Splat!

A wooden crate fell from the sky and landed beside Li Zu's feet.

The sudden appearance startled the Amazonians strolling toward them. They watched the crate warily, afraid that something terrifying might jump out from inside.

Lois felt the same way.

After all, Li Zu looked far too confident.

The crate opened.

Li Zu bent over, sticking his entire upper body into the crate.

He rummaged around diligently. During that time, no one acted rashly. They all waited to see what he would do next.

"Found it!"

When they saw what Li Zu raised over his head, everyone froze.

A humanoid crocodile toy.

It was as large as an adult's calf, with grayish-brown scales embedded in its body. Made of soft plastic, its limbs could even move.

A hideous toy with exquisite craftsmanship!

"Take this, hahaha!!"

He threw the strange crocodile toy.

The toy landed in front of the Avenger Goddess, floating on the water.

Nothing happened!

"I suppose he's given up his chance to join the camp! Kill him!" the Avenger Goddess snorted. She failed to notice that among the soldiers behind her, four figures trembled upon seeing the crocodile-man toy.

"Why didn't you scream?"

Li Zu turned to Lois Lane and questioned her with obvious displeasure.

"Ah? I..." Lois stiffened. After considering many things, she could only say, "Sorry!"

It was the only response she could think of.

"Attack!" With the Avenger Goddess leading the way, more than a dozen Amazonian warriors stepped over the toy floating on the sewage and charged toward Li Zu and Lois.

They had no time to waste on a madman.

Li Zu pulled another "toy" from the crate—a LEGO brick wall.

The brick wall dropped into the water.

Rumble~

In an instant, the bricks transformed into a concrete wall, with two posters pasted onto it.

"Flying Graysons, tonight's spectacular performance is about to begin..." The origin of this wall was obvious.

The Avenger Goddess charged forward.

The toy fell into the water and turned into an old wall, blocking their path.

Her sword sliced through the wall as easily as cutting butter.

Then, under the Avenger Goddess's shoulder charge, it collapsed with a crash.

The Avenger Goddess smashed through the wall, only for a gleaming meat saw to slash toward her!

She raised her sword, narrowly avoiding the disgusting, greasy wound that the barbed meat saw would have carved into her body.

The meat saw collided with the sword. Amid the sparks, Li Zu was sent flying together with his weapon by the Avenger Goddess's tremendous strength, spinning through the air.

He landed with a somewhat wobbly twisting backflip!

His body was far more flexible than an ordinary person's.

The meat saw flicked the sewage away lightly.

"Haah!" The Avenger Goddess raised her sword and pursued Li Zu.

But screams suddenly came from behind her.

Along with terrifying roars.

The Avenger Goddess turned around. The sewage rippled.

A slick black figure glided through the water, trailing waves behind it.

Splash! The water's surface split apart as a crocodile-man identical to the toy from earlier burst out. He bit down, and his enormous jaws lined with grayish-brown scales severed an Amazonian warrior at the waist!

Blood dripped into the sewage, adding a pungent stench of blood to the sewer water.

The other Amazonian warriors reacted swiftly as well. Their swords hacked against the scales, and the seemingly impenetrable scale armor was cut apart.

The attacked crocodile-man became even more frenzied.

In the blink of an eye, over half of the Amazonian warriors were dead or injured.

The crocodile-man was also on the verge of death.

"Damn monster!"

The Avenger Goddess came back to her senses just as a dark meat saw flashing with light swept toward her, gouging several chunks of flesh from her arm. Pain shot through her sword-gripping right hand, forcing her to switch her sword to her left hand and awkwardly fend off Li Zu's attacks.

Li Zu stood with one foot in the water, like an acrobat walking a tightrope. His eyes bulged as he swung the meat saw, slashing with clang, clang, clang, and actually gained the upper hand for a moment!

Once his heartbeat accelerated, his brain became incomparably "excited"!

He would cast aside all thoughts of his own safety and choose the most suitable "plan of action"!

And right now, the most suitable "plan of action" in his mind was to hold back the Avenger Goddess before him, even if it cost him his life!

Hearing the anguished cries of her companions behind her and listening as they died one after another, the Avenger Goddess had long lost any desire to fight Li Zu.

"There's a nuclear bomb," Li Zu nodded.

Seeing Lois's expression stiffen, he burst into laughter. "Hahaha, just kidding~"

"This isn't the time for jokes!" she said, annoyed and anxious.

"In a moment, I'll throw something out, and you run." Li Zu pointed into the distance, making the suggestion very seriously.

"I..." Lois's heart warmed. Although this man was somewhat strange, his decision to do this for her was enough to move her.

If she spoke to anyone who knew Li Zu even briefly, she would learn that Li Zu never made plans for anyone else, much less stayed behind to cover their retreat.

Killer Croc noticed Li Zu as well. He abandoned the Amazonian warriors who had covered him in wounds and instead lunged at Li Zu.

Turning him into a toy was a debt worth collecting more than any other!

Unfortunately, Killer Croc transformed into a toy in midair!

"We should be partners~" Li Zu looked at the Killer Croc toy flying toward him and regretfully opened his hand, catching it perfectly.

The imposing and savage Killer Croc had become a plastic toy once more.

Only Li Zu's overflowing nosebleed and the corpses floating in the sewage in the distance proved that Killer Croc had truly appeared just now.

And slaughtered everyone in sight!
