Killer Croc Awakens

"What?" Lois asked in confusion.

Because of Li Zu's strange question, she instinctively ignored the huge Meat Saw that had suddenly appeared in his hand.

Perhaps she had seen too many bizarre things lately. Compared to those, Li Zu's magician-like tricks could no longer faze her.

Li Zu continued, "In a moment, I'll throw something out, and you scream~"

Splat!

A wooden crate fell from the sky and smashed down beside Li Zu's feet.

The suddenly appearing object startled the Amazons who had been slowly approaching. They watched the crate warily, afraid something terrifying might leap out of it.

Lois was the same.

After all, Li Zu looked far too confident.

The crate opened.

Li Zu bent over, sticking his entire upper body into the crate.

He rummaged around desperately. During that time, no one made a move. They all waited to see what he would do next.

"Found it!"

When they saw what Li Zu held over his head, everyone froze.

A humanoid crocodile toy.

It was as large as an adult's calf, covered in mouse-gray scales, made of soft plastic, with movable arms and legs.

An exquisitely made, hideous toy!

"Take this, hahaha!!"

He threw the strange crocodile toy.

The toy landed in front of Fury and floated on the water.

Nothing happened!

"I suppose he's given up his chance to join the camp! Kill him!" Fury snorted. She failed to notice that among the soldiers behind her, four figures shuddered at the sight of the crocodile-man toy.

"Why didn't you scream?"

Li Zu turned to Lois Lane and questioned her with obvious dissatisfaction.

"Huh? I..." Lois stiffened. After considering countless possibilities, she could only say, "Sorry!"

It was the only answer she could think of.

"Attack!" With Fury in the lead, more than a dozen Amazon warriors stepped over the toy floating in the filthy water and charged toward Li Zu and Lois.

They had no time to waste on a madman.

Li Zu pulled another "toy" from the crate: a Lego brick wall.

The brick wall dropped into the water.

Rumble~

In an instant, the bricks transformed into a concrete wall, with two posters pasted onto it.

"Flying Graysons, tonight's spectacular performance is about to begin..." The wall's origin was obvious.

Fury charged forward.

The toy fell into the water and became an old wall, blocking their path.

Her sword sliced through the wall as easily as cutting cheese.

Then, under Fury's shoulder charge, it came crashing down.

Fury burst through the wall, only to find a coldly gleaming Meat Saw sweeping toward her!

She raised her sword and narrowly avoided letting the barbed Meat Saw carve a disgusting, greasy wound into her body.

The Meat Saw collided with the longsword. Sparks flew, and Fury's overwhelming strength sent Li Zu and his weapon flying together, his body spinning through the air.

He landed with a slightly unsteady backflip and twist!

His agility was somewhat beyond that of an ordinary person.

The Meat Saw lightly flicked away the filthy water.

"Ha!" Fury raised her sword and pursued Li Zu.

But screams suddenly came from behind her.

Along with terrifying roars.

Fury turned around. The surface of the sewage rippled.

A slick, pitch-black figure streaked through the water, trailing waves behind it.

Splash! The water burst apart, and a crocodile man identical to the toy from before sprang out. He bit down, his enormous jaws covered in mouse-gray scales severing an Amazon warrior at the waist!

Blood dripped into the sewage, adding a pungent stench of gore to the sewer water.

The other Amazon warriors reacted quickly as well. Their longswords slashed against the scales, cutting through the seemingly impenetrable armor.

The attacked crocodile man became even more frenzied.

In the blink of an eye, over half the Amazon warriors were dead or wounded.

Killer Croc was also on his last breath.

"Damn monster!"

Fury came back to her senses just as a dark Meat Saw glinting with light swept toward her, chewing away several chunks of flesh from her arm. Pain shot through her sword-holding right hand, forcing her to switch the sword to her left. She awkwardly and clumsily fended off Li Zu's attack.

Li Zu stood with one foot in the water, like an acrobat walking a tightrope. His eyes bulged as he swung the Meat Saw, chopping again and again with a clang, clang, clang. He actually gained the upper hand for a moment!

Once his heartbeat accelerated, his brain became incomparably "excited"!

It discarded every thought concerning his own safety and chose the most suitable "plan of action"!

Right now, the most suitable "plan of action" in his mind was to hold Fury back, even if it cost him his life!

Listening to the anguished cries of her companions behind her, listening as they died one by one, Fury had long since lost any desire to fight Li Zu.

She blocked Li Zu's chopping Meat Saw with her sword, twisted her wrist, and forcibly slammed his entire body away. At the same time, she turned and lunged at Killer Croc.

This time, Li Zu failed to keep his footing and fell into the water.

The stench flooded his nose, and some of it tried to enter his mouth. Just as Li Zu instinctively opened his mouth to "drink" the foul water, Lois pulled him up from the sewage.

"This isn't the time for jokes!" she said, annoyed and anxious.

"In a moment, I'll throw something out, and you run." Li Zu pointed into the distance, giving the suggestion with complete seriousness.

"I..." Lois felt warmth rise in her heart. Though this man was strange, his decision to do this for her was enough to move her.

If she had chatted even briefly with anyone who knew Li Zu, she would have learned that Li Zu never made plans for anyone else, much less stayed behind to cover their retreat.

"Take this~~"

He threw several pieces of plastic. In midair, they rapidly reverted to what they had been before Toyification.

Water sprayed high into the air.

At the same time, Lois turned and ran.

The objects crashing violently into the water startled the Amazon warriors who were still fighting.

"It's raw meat!" One Amazon warrior thrust her sword into the water and lifted out a huge slab of pork.

"It's you!"

Killer Croc noticed Li Zu as well. He abandoned the Amazon warriors who had covered him in wounds and instead lunged at Li Zu.

Turning him into a toy was a debt worth collecting more than any other!

Unfortunately, just as Killer Croc leaped into the air, he suddenly became a toy!

"We should be partners~" Li Zu looked regretfully at the Killer Croc toy flying toward him, opening his hand just in time to catch it.

The fierce and brutal Killer Croc had once again become a plastic toy.

Only Li Zu's nosebleed and the corpses floating in the sewage in the distance proved that Killer Croc had truly appeared just now.

And slaughtered everyone in sight!
