"What do you mean, 'fine'? Have you already decided?"
Lin Tian immediately snapped back.
Gan Yan Yu became even more confused and asked aggrievedly, "What's wrong?"
He was the one who had told her to go back and spend time with her parents, so why was Lin Tian unhappy now that she had agreed?
"I meant for you to think this through carefully yourself. I was only giving you a suggestion."
Lin Tian said seriously.
After all, this was a major family matter for Gan Yan Yu. He had made that suggestion because he did not want her to give up the chance to properly communicate with her family just for his sake.
He wanted Gan Yan Yu to stop considering him and make a choice by following her own heart.
Although, once Lin Tian was taken out of the equation, that choice would most likely be to go home for the New Year.
But Lin Tian had barely finished making his suggestion before she had gone and said "fine" again.
Wouldn't that make it seem as though Gan Yan Yu had listened to him again instead of making her own choice?
Then if I suggested that you go nowhere on New Year's Eve and crawl under the covers with me, try saying "fine" to that!
"You're right, Lin Tian."
Gan Yan Yu nodded.
After thinking for a while, the girl's expression unexpectedly became obedient.
She subconsciously pursed her lips and thought a little longer before saying,
"Then I'll go see them in the next few days and discuss it with them face-to-face!"
"Face-to-face?"
Although Lin Tian had suggested it, he had not expected Gan Yan Yu to be this bold.
"Wouldn't a phone call be enough?"
"Important things should still be said in person."
Gan Yan Yu said firmly.
