Konoha Crush Plan Begins

"Zhi Ge! Wake up!"

"Sasuke?! What's going on?"

After an unknown amount of time, Zhi Ge slowly opened his eyes and found himself lying in Sasuke's arms!

Sasuke had regained his senses by then. As he looked at Zhi Ge waking from his unconsciousness, a trace of apology flashed across his face before he turned his gaze to their surroundings.

Outside the stands, most of the spectators had already fallen asleep.

"I don't know exactly what's going on either, but it looks like the Sound Ninja and Sand Ninja betrayed us! They're attacking Konoha Village!"

Hearing Sasuke's words, Zhi Ge cried out in shock, "What?! The Sand Ninja actually did something like this?"

"Yeah."

Sasuke nodded.

"Then let's get out of here!"

Zhi Ge struggled to sit up, only to discover that he could not control his body at all.

Looking down, he saw that his body was still paralyzed from the genjutsu he had just been caught in. He had temporarily lost his ability to fight!

"Th-This is impossible?!"

Disbelief appeared on Zhi Ge's face, his eyes filled with shock.

"Zhi Ge! Sasuke! You may both be Genin, but you are also Konoha Village's pride! Konoha Village is in trouble now. If you still have the pride of shinobi, then do what shinobi should do!"

The chief examiner, Genma Shiranui, solemnly patted Zhi Ge and Sasuke on the shoulders before throwing himself into battle.

What the hell... When they wiped out my clan, they treated us Uchiha as a menace. Now that they're in trouble, I'm suddenly their pride?

Zhi Ge muttered quietly to himself. After all, his greatest reason for returning to Konoha Village this time was to investigate the truth behind his clan's massacre.

"If you're scared, just hide somewhere! No one will see you anyway!"

Sasuke gave a cold laugh, set Zhi Ge down on the ground, and chased after the Sand Ninja as well.

Just moments ago, he had seen Gaara and his group furtively fleeing in one direction, so he quietly followed them.

"Fuck! If even someone I defeated isn't afraid, why the hell should I be?!"

Watching Sasuke leave, Zhi Ge's face darkened terrifyingly as he cursed through gritted teeth.

In his eyes, Sasuke was deliberately trying to provoke him.

"Kid, are you really not afraid?!"

Just as Zhi Ge got to his feet, two Sound Ninja suddenly appeared in front of him.

Judging from their clothes, they were at least Chunin-level experts.

"Damn it! The Sound Ninja really went all out for this rebellion. They even sent the old, weak, sick, and disabled from their village to fight!"

Zhi Ge looked at the two of them and sneered sarcastically.

"Fuck! A mere Konoha Genin dares look down on us?!"

"Heh! This kid's pretty arrogant!"

The other ninja stepped up beside Zhi Ge as well.

"Yeah, he actually dares to look down on us. We have to teach him a lesson he'll never forget today!"

"That's right! We can't let him live. Kill him!"

The two Sound Ninja stood on either side of Zhi Ge, vicious grins on their faces as though they were ready to exact a mad revenge on him.

Seeing this, Zhi Ge could not help yawning.

He knew that there were differences even among Chunin. He truly did not need to take the Chunin of such a small country seriously.

"If you two insist on coming here to die, then hurry up. I'm in a rush."

A dense killing intent flickered in Zhi Ge's eyes as he spoke indifferently.

"Hah! A Genin actually dares to talk big to us? You're courting death!"

The two Sound Ninja flew into a rage and charged at Zhi Ge with their weapons raised.

"You two think you're worthy of dealing with me?! What a joke!"

Disdain welled up in Zhi Ge's eyes. With a raise of his hand, he struck out in both directions!

In an instant, the two Sound Ninja were sent flying and crashed heavily onto the ground.

"Ah..."

"Ah..."

The two clutched their heads and screamed, bright red blood streaming through their fingers.

"My head... My head hurts so much!"

"This kid is actually so strong..."

An icy, biting aura radiated from Zhi Ge, filling them with fear.

Seeing how terrifying Zhi Ge was, how could they dare provoke him any further? They hurriedly scrambled up and fled.

"Jeez, you two pieces of trash..."

Watching the two Sound Ninja flee in disgrace, Zhi Ge could not help cursing at them.

But after cursing them, Zhi Ge froze.

When he looked up, he saw the Kazekage of Sand Village confronting the Hokage on the rooftop!

"What the hell? Sand Village is actually fighting the Hokage? What's going on?!"

Zhi Ge was utterly confused.

Sand Village was one of the top ninja villages in the Land of Wind. The two countries had originally been very friendly, yet Sand Village was now confronting the Hokage. This left Zhi Ge deeply puzzled.

"Could all of this have been ordered by the Kazekage?! I hate betrayal more than anything!"

In his fury, Zhi Ge leaped onto the roof in just a few bounds, intending to find out what was going on.

"Stop!"

At that moment, someone called out from behind Zhi Ge!

Turning around, Zhi Ge saw a masked squad standing behind him.

Zhi Ge immediately recognized them. They were Konoha Village's ANBU!

"You ANBU see the Hokage in danger and don't go save him, fine! But you even dare stop me? Did you betray Konoha too?!"

Seeing that they were all ANBU, Zhi Ge questioned them angrily.

At those words, the expressions of the ANBU members all turned grim.

"You little brat, don't spout nonsense. What betrayal? We're Konoha's elite, so watch what you say!"

"That's right! We stopped you to keep you from throwing your life away! Look carefully ahead!"

After hearing the leader's words, Zhi Ge turned to look ahead.

He found a purple barrier directly in front of him. There were four sides in total, forming a square around the rooftop and trapping the Kazekage and the Hokage inside.

Beneath the barrier lay half a charred corpse. Judging by the clothes, it had likely been an ANBU member too.

"This is... a barrier?!"

Zhi Ge's eyes widened, filled with shock!

"Yes! This barrier was personally set up by the enemy's guard squad. Unless the Hokage breaks it from the inside, there is no way you can get in! That ANBU member had the strength of a Jonin, yet he died the instant he touched it! If you went over there, wouldn't you just be throwing your life away?!"

The ANBU man nodded before continuing.

After hearing the ANBU man's words, Zhi Ge's expression immediately became extremely grave.

"I never expected the Hokage to face an enemy like this! Why doesn't he destroy the barrier from the inside and let us go in to help him?"

After hearing the man's words, Zhi Ge felt somewhat puzzled.

"Zhi Ge, look carefully inside the barrier! That person isn't the Kazekage! He's Orochimaru, Konoha's former rogue ninja! Killing us would be as easy as lifting a finger for him! I think the Hokage is trying to avoid needless casualties!"
