He himself had been pinned beneath the collapsing wall.
As for why the referee had not stepped in to save him, they had probably assumed he could dodge it.
Normally, Li Lei had enough reflexes for that.
But the piercing howl unleashed by Su Wuming's Tempest Kick: Circular Severance had left his ears ringing and his head spinning. How could he have heard the wall falling behind him?
And so, Li Lei became the only Class Seven student sent to the infirmary, injured thanks to his class monitor, Su Wuming.
For quite some time afterward, Lei Ze never stopped mocking him. The reason was that he had not dismissed his Battle Soul and had flopped down like a complete idiot.
As Class Eight left, every one of them looked as though they had lost their souls, heads hanging low without a shred of spirit left.
They had clearly been hit hard.
However, Su Wuming was not worried about them at all. This was Supreme High School. They would soon recover from such a minor setback.
