Ch. 261Becoming the [World Master]

Lu Xi absorbed the Authorities transferred by the cosmic beings and ascended to the Omniversal-level, becoming the Marvel Greater World's [World Master]. He killed the Living Tribunal and realized that the mysteries of OAA's lost control and the Tribunal's mutation had answers beyond the Marvel Greater World.

  • Lu Xi merged the Authorities of the God of Stories, Galactus, Death, Eternity, Infinity, and Oblivion, ascending from the Multiversal-level to the Omniversal-level.
  • Lu Xi learned that he had taken OAA's [World Master] position, granting him omniscience and omnipotence within the Marvel Greater World.
  • Eternity and Oblivion dissipated after completing the transfer of their Authorities.
  • Lu Xi transported the Living Tribunal to him and examined the Tribunal's secrets, but could not discover why OAA had lost control or what had caused the Tribunal's mutation.
  • Lu Xi concluded that both answers lay beyond the Marvel Greater World and turned the Living Tribunal to ashes.

Ch. 262Marvel Universe—Restart

After defeating the Living Tribunal, Lu Xi reclaimed the remaining Authorities, became the ruler of the Marvel Greater World, and restored the Universes and resurrected the fallen gods. He returned to the Morningstar Universe to relax, while remaining wary of the DC Universe.

  • After the Living Tribunal died, the gold and gray orbs merged into Lu Xi, completing his Destiny and Death Authority and making him the new ruler of the Marvel Greater World.
  • Lu Xi restored the destroyed Universes and revived Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion, Death, Galactus, and the other fallen gods.
  • Eternity recognized Lu Xi as the new One Above All, and the Five Gods bowed before him before returning to their duties.
  • Lu Xi returned to the Morningstar Universe, where he relaxed, guided Magik and Invisible Woman, and watched superheroes in disguise.
  • Lu Xi learned from the Living Tribunal's memories about other Greater Worlds and chose to avoid the DC Universe, sending clones to explore elsewhere instead.

Ch. 263The Final Step Went Wrong

The elderly Lucifer had taken control of most of the DC Universe’s authority and explained his plan to seize power in Marvel through his counterpart, Lu Xi. With Lu Xi refusing to come, Lucifer wondered whether the final step had failed or his plan had a flaw.

  • OBA hurried into Heaven and asked the elderly Lucifer why Lu Xi had not arrived and whether the plan had failed.
  • The elderly Lucifer recalled that he had imprisoned the wounded Supreme God and absorbed ninety percent of his authority without killing him, which would destroy the DC Universe.
  • Lucifer had subdued OBA and forced him to lure One-Above-All into the DC Universe so they could strip him of his authority and imprison him.
  • Lucifer planned to use a counterpart separated from his original body to gain authority over Marvel, then fuse that counterpart back into himself and combine the power of both worlds.
  • Lucifer realized Lu Xi had noticed something was wrong and refused to come, and he began wondering whether his plan had a flaw.

Ch. 264My Fellow Countrymen

Lu Xi resisted the summons that he suspected Old Man Lucifer had sent to lure him into a trap. When Old Man Lucifer and OBA attacked the Marvel Universe, Lu Xi fought back and revealed that he had warned rulers across other worlds, many of whom came from legends in his home world.

  • OBA worried that Lu Xi’s growing control would eventually cost him his authority, but Old Man Lucifer insisted that Lu Xi would take the bait or they would invade the Marvel Universe.
  • After two years of resisting the summons, Lu Xi concluded that Old Man Lucifer was behind the events that had helped him gain control of the Marvel Universe.
  • Old Man Lucifer and OBA entered the Marvel Universe, and OBA immediately contested Lu Xi’s authority while Old Man Lucifer attacked his will.
  • Old Man Lucifer urged Lu Xi to return to their original unity, but Lu Xi rejected the offer and claimed that rulers of other worlds had already learned of the threat.
  • Lu Xi named numerous world rulers whose legends had reached his home world and argued that he could make allies among them.
