In the forest shrouded by night, several adventurers ran forward, panting heavily. The Great Warrior in the lead gripped his battle axe tightly, his scarred face twisted into a savage expression.
Even as he urged on and encouraged his companions, he glanced back in the direction they had come from.
His eyes brimmed with venom and hatred.
This Great Warrior was the leader of an adventuring party. Not long ago, during a mission, he and his men had ambushed and killed several travelers. They had thought nobody would be any the wiser, but carelessness while fencing the stolen goods exposed their trail, and they ended up wanted.
His party had originally consisted of nine members. Only three still remained by his side.
All the other members had died at the hands of their pursuers.
The party hunting them down had once shared a fairly good relationship with them, yet now they had become mortal enemies!
