Happy New Year (Part 1)

"Little Auntie!"

Seeing Ji Yu step out of the Mercedes G-Class, a burly little brat widened his eyes and shouted as though he had discovered a new continent.

Ji Yu greeted them with a smile. "Xiao Hao, Xiao Wen, Xin Xin, Cheng Cheng..."

"Little Aunt!" "Little Auntie!" "Auntie!"

The children immediately rushed over, hopping and skipping as they surrounded Ji Yu.

Ji Yu rubbed one child's head, pinched another's little cheek, her eyes crinkling with delight.

Just then, the burly little brat noticed Gao Jing getting out of the driver's seat. He widened his eyes again and asked suspiciously, "Little Auntie, who's that?"

Ji Yu's pretty face flushed. "He's Little Auntie's friend. Hurry up and say hello to Uncle."

"Happy New Year, Uncle!"

The children spoke in unison, their eyes full of expectation as they looked at Gao Jing.

Ji Yu pressed her lips together and smiled.

"Happy New Year."

Gao Jing hurriedly took out the red envelopes he had prepared in advance and handed one to each child.

Ji Yu had told him before that although she was an only child, she had a whole heap of cousins.

Most of them were married with children, so family reunions during the New Year were especially lively.
