Duel (Part One)

The giant beast Gray Ao had unleashed fixed Gao Jing in its scarlet gaze, and a savage, bloodthirsty aura swept toward him!

Having just landed on the mountainside, Gao Jing abruptly raised the Dragonbone Staff. Blazing flames materialized before him, instantly forming a wall of fire dozens of meters high that surged forward.

Boom!

Two utterly different auras crashed together, and the clash of two powerful forces made the earth tremble.

The towering trees blanketing the surrounding mountains and forests shuddered, and countless fallen leaves fluttered down!

The giant Beast Soul behind Gray Ao opened its blood-filled maw and let out an earthshaking roar from above.

More than a dozen trees around them snapped in unison. Great swathes of earth, tangled with vines and grass roots, were swept into the air and crashed toward Gao Jing like a black storm, swallowing every flaming arrow in the blink of an eye.

The next instant, Gray Ao appeared less than ten paces from Gao Jing.

With a vicious grin, he raised the double-bladed battle axe in his hand and chopped down at Gao Jing's head.

The sharp Battle Aura tore through the air with a strange howl, moving at an unbelievable speed.

The chief Great Warrior of the Greywing Tribe looked ugly and rough-hewn, but he was exceedingly cunning. His purpose in using the Beast Soul's power to fling up trees and soil had been to conceal his true killing move!
