The scammer's skills might have been poor, but their spirit of fraud was quite commendable. After Zuo Yi hung up, they persistently called several more times, until Zuo Yi decisively blacklisted the number.

Though peace had been restored, Zuo Yi could no longer recover his earlier pleasant mood. He hurriedly finished his dinner and returned to the living room.

"Master..."

The Giant Spirit Witch Slave still floated above the oil lamp. It had completed the new task Zuo Yi had assigned it, and its burly body emitted a gentle Spirit Form glow that dispelled the darkness shrouding the living room.

Ding!

A gleaming Law Coin flicked out from Zuo Yi's fingers, tracing a graceful arc through the air as it flew toward the Giant Spirit Witch Slave.

The giant slave opened its mouth and swallowed it. The indestructible Law Coin rapidly broke down and collapsed within its body, turning into specks of starlight that merged with it in an instant.

It bowed in gratitude. "Master, thank you for your generosity!"

The Giant Spirit Witch Slave was also a Law Creation. Although it could work tirelessly without food or drink, casting low-level spells and maintaining its own existence consumed energy.

The energy it needed was Law Force. As a low-level creation, it lacked the ability to draw Law Force directly from the Web of Laws, so it had to rely on its master's bestowal.

Law Coins were the simplest and most readily available source of Law Force. A single Law Coin could sustain a Giant Spirit Witch Slave's daily consumption for three months. Devouring Law Coins and converting them for its own use was also one of the basic abilities of Law Creations like the giant slave.

A law of the Sadea World: only Law Force could resist, destroy, assimilate, or merge with Law Force!

This law also applied to every plane in the multiverse.

Zuo Yi waved his hand, and the Giant Spirit Witch Slave hanging in the air was instantly "sucked" back into the lamp wick by the oil lamp.

The living room immediately sank into darkness.

But darkness could not obstruct Zuo Yi's vision. He turned on the living room lights, and brightness instantly returned.

Zuo Yi had often traveled in the past. He was used to keeping sufficient balances in his water, electricity, gas, and phone accounts, so although he had been gone for three years, the utilities in his home had not been cut off.

He left the living room and went up to the third floor.

The bedroom, study, and bathroom had all been cleaned spotless by the giant slave, and the air conditioner and appliances were functioning normally. Zuo Yi had no intention of going to bed yet, so he stepped onto the balcony connected to his bedroom.

The semi-open balcony was spacious and paved with beautiful tiles. Looking north from where he stood, he saw the broad Qiantang River bend sharply nearby before surging eastward into the sea.

This had once been Zuo Yi's most familiar sight. Now, however, many more high-rises stood along both banks of the river. Neon lights flickered in dazzling, fantastical colors, displaying the prosperity of Hang City, a modern metropolis.

Zuo Yi's gaze passed over the clusters of city buildings and looked west toward the vast mountain range beneath the night sky.

He activated Spirit Sight.

Spirit Sight was a skill shared by knights and wizards, capable of perceiving the true nature of the world. This skill was based on mental power—the stronger one's spirit, the wider the area Spirit Sight could cover and the more information it could discern.

In the next moment, an immense web that shrouded heaven and earth, formless yet omnipresent, appeared within Zuo Yi's mental vision.

The Web of Laws!

The Web of Laws was the manifestation of the multiverse's primordial power. Any plane inhabited by intelligent life and civilization was inevitably covered by a formed Web of Laws. Planes without a formed Web of Laws were regarded as primitive Wilds.

In different plane worlds, the Web of Laws went by different names, such as the Magic Web, Source Web, Void Web, Source Sea, and so on. Yet whatever name it bore, its essence was exactly the same.

The Web of Laws was also the source of transcendent power. Where laws existed, the transcendent would inevitably arise!

In Zuo Yi's perception, the Web of Laws covering the Blue Star World was far less vast and powerful than that of the Sadea World. Yet it brimmed with vigorous life and vitality, and had taken shape less than an era ago.

The Web of Laws in the Sadea World had been formed for more than five eras!

But the Blue Star World undoubtedly possessed transcendent power as well, and it was a low-dimensional plane currently in a period of ascent.

Zuo Yi continued his investigation along the Web of Laws—he needed to learn more.

But an enormous tree standing above the Web of Laws suddenly appeared, blocking his mental vision!

A trace of surprise flashed through Zuo Yi's eyes.

According to the knowledge obtained by Sadea World wizards through exploring countless planes, the multiverse contained a total of nine layers of plane dimensions. The higher the dimension, the larger and more powerful the plane. Sadeya's plane was on the seventh layer.

Comparing the information he had just obtained through Spirit Sight, the plane where the Blue Star World was located should have been on the low-dimensional third layer. Yet he had actually seen a World Tree, something exceedingly rare in low-dimensional planes!

The World Tree was the embodiment of the World Consciousness and usually appeared only in medium- and high-dimensional plane worlds. Zuo Yi had participated in wars across hundreds of plane worlds, yet this was the first time he had seen a World Tree in a low-dimensional plane.

The existence of the World Tree indicated that the Blue Star World's consciousness possessed considerable intelligence and was no longer in a primitive, ignorant state.

"Greetings, Transcendent Being who has returned from another world."

In the next moment, a gentle and pleasant voice rang out within his mental space.

Zuo Yi took a deep breath and replied with his thoughts, "Greetings, great World Consciousness."

Zuo Yi was not surprised. A being like him would attract the World Consciousness's attention upon entering any world without sealing his spirit and power, especially since he had actively investigated the Web of Laws.

And because Zuo Yi was a native-born Blue Star resident, the World Consciousness did not regard him as an invader. Otherwise, such peaceful and friendly communication would never have occurred.

At the same time, it was only because of his strength that he was qualified to communicate with it.

The voice of the Blue Star World Consciousness in his mental space carried a faint hint of delight. "Welcome home, Your Excellency Transcendent Being. Are you willing to leave your True Name in your own world?"

Zuo Yi smiled.

It was too young. If it had been one of those ancient World Consciousnesses, even if it wanted something, it would never have been so blunt and eager.

Leaving a True Name Mark within a World Consciousness meant regarding that world as one's Main World. The benefit was perfect compatibility with the world, as well as the soul protection of the World Consciousness.

Moreover, a True Name Mark was equivalent to an anchor coordinate for a plane world. When entering other plane worlds for battle, one would never lose their way with such a coordinate.

However, leaving a True Name Mark also meant taking on the responsibility of protecting the World Consciousness. When faced with invasions from foreign domains, one had to step forward and could not easily fear battle or flee.

The Sadea World Consciousness contained Zuo Yi's True Name Mark. Once he anchored a new Main World, the original mark would automatically disappear according to the laws of the multiverse.

That meant it would be virtually impossible for him to return to the Sadea World. He would be voluntarily severing all ties with it.

Zuo Yi considered it for only one second before answering decisively, "I am willing!"

Boom!

As his will surged forth, the Knight's Heart hidden within his chest thundered. The eight Virtue Faith marks representing order, honor, Valor, keeping promises, resilience, righteousness, honesty, and compassion emerged together, instantly condensing into a sun-shaped mark surrounded by Blaze.

This mark containing Zuo Yi's True Name flew straight toward the World Tree and was instantly absorbed by it.

In the next moment, the enormous World Tree vanished from Zuo Yi's mental vision. He heard the World Consciousness's final message: "May the laws be with you forever!"

"May the laws endure!"

Zuo Yi clenched his right fist and struck his chest in a knight's salute, completing his Resonance with the World Consciousness.

The reason he had left his True Name Mark without hesitation was because Blue Star was his homeland. It was the world that truly belonged to him, the resting place of his soul, and the homeland he had dreamed of returning to countless times.

At that moment, Zuo Yi felt threads of pure Faith Power continuously pouring into his Knight's Heart. The power he had expended during his final battle with Abyss Lord Sol was rapidly recovering!

Faith Power was a special form of Law Force, the Source Power cultivated by knights.

This was a gift from the World Consciousness.

Zuo Yi stood on the balcony in a daze, sensing the changes within himself, until the ringing of his phone startled him awake.

He took out his phone and found that he had received a new text message.

The contents of that message made Zuo Yi frown.
