A ball of platinum-white molten metal hovered silently above the workbench.

Nearly the size of a soccer ball, it was perfectly round and blazed with light, like a miniature sun radiating endless light and heat.

He spread the fingers of his right hand and aimed them at the molten sphere.

Under Zuo Yi's control, pearl-sized droplets of molten metal separated from the sphere and flew into the Dragon King Armor.

The Dragon King Armor was fully open. Larger than the domestically produced Yazi Type I armor, it had a relatively spacious cockpit and looked more like a miniature mech.

The separated droplets swiftly merged into different parts of the armor's interior, each contact producing a faint flash of light.

The alloy used in the Dragon King Armor was extremely advanced and offered formidable protection, but only by the standards of Blue Star's existing technology. It fell far short of Zuo Yi's requirements.

He infused every alloy component with his own molten metal mixture.

The work continued for nearly two hours, proceeding from top to bottom, from the inside out. When the last droplet merged into the armor's heel, the first and most critical stage of the upgrade was complete.
