Zuo Yi had recognized Elijie at a glance because she had used her real appearance on the Inner Net.

She was highly distinctive—pretty and adorable, with skin as fair as snow. Her blue-and-white dress gave off a strong youthful air; she was vibrant, sweet, and charming, like a character who had stepped out of a cartoon, drawing frequent looks from nearby travelers.

When Elijie emerged from the passenger passage, Zuo Yi, standing among the people waiting to receive arrivals, waved at her.

Elijie immediately noticed him keenly. She turned around and revealed a bright, delighted smile.

Dragging her suitcase, she hurried over and eagerly bowed. "Hello, Teacher!"

Zuo Yi nodded and said, "Hello. Let me introduce you. This is Gu Yunxi."

Elijie straightened up, her gaze falling on Gu Yunxi, and bowed politely again. "Hello, Teacher's wife!"

Zuo Yi and Gu Yunxi exchanged a smile.

Though it was their first meeting, both of them took quite a liking to the young girl from Gaul.

She introduced the middle-aged man following behind her to Zuo Yi and Gu Yunxi. He looked to be in his forties, short and thin, dressed in a dark gray suit, with an utterly ordinary appearance.

The middle-aged man took the initiative to extend his hand toward Zuo Yi. "I'm Winston Lane. It's a pleasure to meet you."
