Gluck should have lived a good life.

He had been careful and cautious. Whenever he carried out missions for the Council of True Knowledge, he concealed his identity flawlessly and never revealed his true form. Even his communications with the Council's upper ranks went through secret channels.

He simply had not expected that the Inner Net now had a true super-admin—and one who was the Council of True Knowledge's mortal enemy.

In fact, even after his identity was exposed, Gluck still had a chance to survive. As long as he agreed to become Zuo Yi's planted agent within the Council, atoning for his sins by betraying other members, Zuo Yi would naturally keep his promise.

Unfortunately, he had given up his only chance at survival and sent himself down a road of no return.

There were no pleasant surprises. The Council of True Knowledge's organizational structure meant that, apart from the big boss, the Crown Bearer, the members below—including the Staff Bearers—only knew about matters involving themselves.

What Zuo Yi could dig out through Gluck was basically nothing more than information on minor figures below.

Zuo Yi was not disappointed. He purified Gluck's soul inside the Soul Gem, then collected the weapons, equipment, and items stored within the walls before leaving.

Even a fly was meat. His Spatial Ring was large enough, and leaving those things behind would be wasteful. Valuable items like cash and gold could still be used for good deeds. Every little bit counted.
