"It should be." Bing Yekong leaned back in his chair, his hands clasped behind his head. "Both divine artifacts are in Sea God's Hall, and I have to pull them out at the same time."
Shui Bing'er looked up at him. "Do you think you can do it?"
Bing Yekong fell silent for a moment.
"I don't know." He told the truth. "I haven't seen those two weapons. I don't know how heavy or how large they are, or what conditions are needed to pull them out. But since the trial has been issued, it means I can accomplish it in my current state. The process will just be extremely difficult."
Shui Bing'er nodded. "What can I do?"
"The trial says you need to assist me throughout the whole process. As for how, it will probably be the usual soul power fusion. Our Martial Soul Fusion Skill, Ice Phoenix Strike, already has a resonance foundation. When the time comes, pour the Ice Phoenix's soul power into my body and stack it with my Heavenly Frost Sword and Ice Dragon King. That should push my limits a little further."
After hearing that, the red eight-pointed star between Shui Bing'er's brows faintly glimmered beneath the lamplight.
She reached out and put away her card. "Let's go take a look tomorrow."
Early the next morning, the two of them made their way up the stone steps along the southern foothills of Sea God Mountain.
These steps were far narrower and steeper than the stairway of Sea God's Light. There were no railings on either side, and the rough mountain rock beneath their feet had been polished as smooth as a mirror by countless years of sea winds.
The stone steps wound around several bends and circled more than half the mountain before finally
