Qian and Dui (Metal) generated Kan (Water),

Kan (Water) generated Zhen and Xun (Wood),

Zhen and Xun (Wood) generated Li (Fire),

Li (Fire) generated Kun and Gen (Earth),

Kun and Gen (Earth) generated Qian and Dui (Metal).

The bodily tissues represented by the Eight Trigrams and Five Elements were respectively:

Qian Trigram: corresponding to the large intestine, brain, spine, Governor Vessel, chest, lower left abdomen, and lower left limb.

Kun Trigram: corresponding to the spleen and stomach, Conception Vessel, abdomen, left shoulder, muscles, and digestive system.

Zhen Trigram: corresponding to the liver, both feet, nerves, tendons, fascia, right waist, right ribs, right shoulder and arm, and so on.

Xun Trigram: corresponding to the gallbladder, upper arms and thighs, right shoulder, nerves, esophagus, intestinal tract, lymphatic system, and respiratory organs.

Kan Trigram: corresponding to the kidneys, bladder, Conception Vessel, ears, waist, bones, marrow, brain, hair, blood circulation, urinary system, and immune system.

Li Trigram: corresponding to the heart, pericardium, blood vessels, small intestine, eyes, head and face, neck, chest, and upper abdomen.

Gen Trigram: corresponding to the spleen and stomach, nose, hands, right lower limb, instep, toes, spine, skin, and other protruding areas.

Dui Trigram: corresponding to the lungs, trachea, esophagus, mouth and tongue, throat, teeth, left waist, left ribs, and anus.

The Five Elements of the five viscera were: heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys!

Energy from bodily tissues and organs such as the spleen and stomach, represented by the Kun and Gen Trigrams, generated the energy of bodily tissues and organs such as the lungs and large intestine, represented by the Qian and Dui Trigrams. This achieved the mutual generation of Earth producing Metal.

Afterward came Metal producing Water, Water producing Wood, and the cycle returned to Earth producing Metal. He simply followed the sequence without interruption, continuously strengthening his body. It was merely a slow, grinding process that took time.
