Ye Fan did not answer the medic's question. Instead, he walked shoulder to shoulder with Naruto Uzumaki toward the ward door.
"Naruto, don't believe his nonsense!"
Sasuke Uchiha roared from the hospital bed.
Naruto Uzumaki had yet to react when Ye Fan turned around first, smiling as he said to Sasuke Uchiha:
"Get well soon!"
Sasuke Uchiha's eyes nearly spat fire.
But there was nothing he could do. He could only watch helplessly as Ye Fan and Naruto left.
In the hallway, Naruto Uzumaki had originally intended to check out immediately and follow Ye Fan outside to talk, but the medic forcibly made him stay in the hospital.
With no other choice, Naruto Uzumaki had to return to his ward.
"May I speak with Naruto alone?"
After entering the ward, Ye Fan asked with a smile.
The medic did not move. He remained standing there, clearly unwilling to leave Ye Fan alone with Naruto.
Ye Fan shrugged and turned around indifferently. Looking at Naruto Uzumaki sitting sulkily on the bed, he asked softly:
"Do you feel any discomfort anywhere?"
"No! I'm perfectly fine now. I want to be discharged!"
Naruto Uzumaki spoke loudly, clearly not saying those words only for Ye Fan to hear.
"Naruto, I suggest you calm down first. Otherwise, the nurse beside you might stick you with a needle. I doubt you want another sedative, right?"
Ye Fan narrowed his eyes slightly, as though there was more to his words.
Sure enough, after hearing Ye Fan's words, Naruto Uzumaki stopped shouting, though his expression remained unpleasant.
"Now that you're looking at my Ninja Hound, do you still feel uneasy and afraid?"
Seeing Naruto calm down somewhat, Ye Fan tried asking.
