After a full day of preparations, they were finally leaving the village to carry out their mission.
Early in the morning, the sun had just risen.
All the members of Team 8 had assembled and headed toward Konoha Village's gate.
"Finally, we get to go out on another mission." Kiba Inuzuka laughed cheerfully.
"This mission will take at least ten days before we can return. Once we're outside, everyone must stay safe and never let down your guard, no matter what."
Kurenai Yuhi spoke earnestly as she led the way.
As she spoke, she deliberately glanced at Ye Fan, who was following behind them.
Unlike the others, Ye Fan carried an enormous, bulging backpack whose contents were unknown.
Although they did need to bring some necessities for this mission, there was no need to bring this much, was there?
Fortunately, Ye Fan was riding atop a ninja hound. Otherwise, that backpack alone would have affected their journey.
"Brother Ye Fan, didn't you always want to go outside and have a look? Let me tell you, there are lots of interesting things out there..."
As Kiba Inuzuka spoke, he had already moved close to Ye Fan.
While they chatted, Konoha Village's massive wooden gate came into view.
This was Konoha Village's only entrance and exit.
On one side, duty ninja were registering those entering and leaving.
Konoha Village maintained strict control over ninja leaving the village. Anyone who left without permission would be considered a deserter and could face pursuit by ANBU.
Kurenai Yuhi handed the proof of their mission to the duty ninja, allowing them to legally leave Konoha Village.
Just as they were about to walk through the village gate, Ye Fan suddenly stopped.
"Teacher Kurenai, please wait!" Ye Fan suddenly called out.
"Is there something else?" Kurenai Yuhi
