Yuugao Uzuki reached out, about to knock on the courtyard gate, when it creaked open.
The familiar face of a young man appeared.
"Ye Fan!" Yuugao Uzuki spoke first.
"You came at just the right time, Senior. I only returned from my mission today."
Ye Fan smiled and invited Yuugao Uzuki inside.
"You were away on this mission for quite a long time. I came looking for you several times."
By the lamplight, Yuugao Uzuki carefully studied the young man before her.
After not seeing him for some time, she felt that Ye Fan had undergone some tremendous change, yet she could not put it into words.
"This mission did hold me up for a while. May I ask why you came to see me, Senior?" Ye Fan got straight to the point.
"I came because of my friend's condition," Yuugao Uzuki said directly.
"Did my pills fail to improve your friend's condition?" Ye Fan asked.
"Your pills worked very well. Hayate has stopped coughing, and his complexion has improved greatly," Yuugao Uzuki hurriedly said.
"Then what brings you here?"
Ye Fan poured Yuugao Uzuki a cup of tea, signaling for her to take her time.
"I was wondering whether you could examine my friend again," Yuugao Uzuki said somewhat awkwardly.
Back then, Ye Fan had caused quite a misunderstanding while treating her lover.
Now that she was making such a request again, she felt as though she was imposing on him.
