Izumi Uchiha woke groggily and found herself slumped over a stone table.
She lifted her head and looked around.
Only then did she realize that she was sitting in a pavilion.
"How did I get here?"
Izumi Uchiha tried hard to remember.
She remembered sparring with Hanabi Hyuga. How had she ended up slumped here?
Her mind felt fragmented.
It was like waking up after a drunken night, unable to recall many things.
"Izumi, you're awake!" Hanabi Hyuga's voice rang out.
Izumi Uchiha turned her head and saw Hanabi Hyuga running over.
At the same time, she saw Ye Fan preparing breakfast.

Izumi Uchiha looked at the sky. The sun had only just risen.
"Izumi, how are you feeling? It's all my fault!" Hanabi Hyuga looked deeply apologetic.

"If I remember correctly, weren't we sparring?"

"Hanabi knocked you out," Ye Fan's voice drifted over. "But don't worry. I already examined you. You're fine."
"I was knocked out?"

Why did she have no memory of that at all?
"Izumi, are you still feeling unwell? It's all my fault." Hanabi Hyuga looked full of self-reproach.
"Did we just spar?" Izumi Uchiha asked.
"Izumi, y-you don't remember anything?"
Hanabi Hyuga worried that she might have damaged Izumi's brain.
Izumi Uchiha stood up and only then realized that her head felt swollen and heavy.
"I remember a little, but..."
