Uzuki Yugao did not return to rest after leaving. Instead, she went straight to the Hokage's Office.
She wanted to tell the Third Hokage about some of her discoveries and impressions.
It could not be said that she had gained nothing from the entire previous night. At the very least, she had confirmed one thing: the boy named Ye Fan and his Ninja Hound had the ability to evade ANBU tracking.
Inside the Hokage's Office, Hiruzen Sarutobi was not alone. Kakashi was there as well.
The two had just been discussing Hanabi Hyuga.
The previous night, Hiruzen Sarutobi had specifically visited the Hyuga Clan and spoken with its current head, Hyuga Hiashi, about Hanabi Hyuga.
He had also specifically asked about the fist technique Hanabi Hyuga had used against Kakashi's clone.
"Senior Kakashi!"
Uzuki Yugao was somewhat surprised to see Kakashi in the office.
Kakashi merely gave a slight nod in greeting.
"Yugao, you came here so early. Did you find something?"
Hiruzen Sarutobi had no reservations about calling her by name because Kakashi already knew Uzuki Yugao's identity.
"Lord Hokage, Ye Fan did indeed make some unusual moves last night."
Since the Hokage had asked in front of Kakashi, Uzuki Yugao had nothing to hide and answered directly.
"Oh?" Hiruzen Sarutobi's aged eyes suddenly lit up as he hurriedly asked, "What kind of moves?"
"Late last night, Ye Fan left carrying a very large backpack. I do not know where he went or what he did."
As Uzuki Yugao spoke, she seemed somewhat ashamed, and her voice gradually grew softer.
"You do not know where he went? Or what he did?"
Hiruzen Sarutobi repeated the words under his breath, but his gaze carried a questioning look as he watched Uzuki Yugao.
