Hermione Granger walked past shelf after shelf, taking down the books she needed.
Luna Lovegood, Cedric, and the others were doing the same.

"Whew, my eyes are about to go blurry from all this reading." Ron Weasley slumped into his chair, set down his book, and complained.
"This is the most I've ever read in a single day." Fred sprawled in his chair like Ron Weasley, speaking wearily.
"If anything like this happens again, don't come looking for me. Whoever does, I'll pick a fight with them." George said impatiently.
"Quiet. This isn't a place for you to complain loudly." Hermione Granger whispered angrily to Ron Weasley and the other two.
Hermione Granger was in a terrible mood because they had made no real progress.
Information about the Chamber of Secrets seemed to have been deliberately suppressed.
Any information they could find about the Chamber of Secrets was nothing more than scattered fragments.
"You're all gathered here? How diligent of you, reading so many books."
Katelyle entered the library with a book in hand. When he saw Harry and the others, along with the books piled on the table, he praised them.
"Professor Kate!"
Seeing him, Harry and the others quickly stood and called out.
They did not dare underestimate Katelyle in the slightest. They respected him immensely and naturally did not dare treat him carelessly.
