Katelyle glanced at the waves before him, then at the diving equipment Quirinus Quirrell had taken out. "We don't need any of that. We can just go straight down."
Quirinus Quirrell froze at his words, his hands stopping midway through handling the equipment.
"Professor Kate, the currents down there are very strong, and the water is extremely deep. Without diving equipment, we won't be able to stay down there for long," Quirinus Quirrell hurriedly explained.
Katelyle handed Quirinus Quirrell a pale blue ring and smiled. "There's no need. This is for you. Just channel magic into it, and it'll let you move freely beneath the sea for an hour."
