The enormous campsite was jointly managed by hundreds of Ministry of Magic staff members.
It had been divided into enough sections to accommodate a gathering of one hundred thousand wizards, with tents erected throughout.
These hundred thousand wizards came from all over the world, from different countries and regions. Their local customs gave the tents in the campsite all manner of bizarre appearances through their decorations.
Many wizards did not understand, or were unfamiliar with, the Muggle world, and thus dressed in all sorts of strange ways.
For example, one elderly wizard stubbornly believed that if Muggles could wear clothes he had bought in the Muggle world, then so could he.
In reality, he was an old man wearing a young girl's pajamas. It was simply painful to look at.
Then there were those who, when Ministry staff told them not to use magic to start cooking fires and instead required them to use matches, ruined an entire box of matches without managing to light a fire. Furious, they resorted to magic, only to use too much force and nearly burn down their tents.
Because of this, the Ministry staff had no choice but to step in and give them a thorough scolding, berating the families who had come to watch the Quidditch World Cup until they did not dare raise their heads.
Muggle items were basically prohibited in the magical world.
Yet people still used them in secret, all because of their curiosity.
Unfortunately, most of them lost interest after trying them once.
They did not possess Arthur Weasley's intense curiosity, nor did they feel compelled to passionately study all kinds of Muggle objects.
