"Remus Lupin, we should sit down and talk!"

Douglas Polk spoke up again, making his displeasure clear.

Remus Lupin remained calm, seemingly unconcerned by their threats.

Since when had Remus Lupin, a former werewolf, become so full of himself?

Remus Lupin smiled at his words and looked at Douglas Polk. "You want the antidote?"

"You're a werewolf yourself. What would you do with it?"

Douglas Polk chuckled. "I believe that if it could turn you back into a human, it could make us human too."

Remus Lupin sounded even more puzzled. "If you become human, you'll lose your werewolf physique and fighting abilities. Are you sure?"

Douglas Polk immediately frowned at Remus Lupin's words.

This was rather different from what they had imagined before coming here.

They had assumed that since Remus Lupin could stand in the moonlight without becoming a werewolf, he must have some power that suppressed his body's transformation.

Holding his wand, Remus Lupin looked at Douglas Polk and smiled. "You're angry, Douglas."

"Are you ready to fight?"

Werewolves clearly had volatile tempers.

The angrier they became, the more their true nature showed, until they lashed out indiscriminately, unable to distinguish right from wrong or friend from foe.

Only after venting all their fury could they calm down and regain their reason.

"Remus Lupin, consider this a warning."

"Don't lie to me. If a fight breaks out and I discover you can turn back into a werewolf, the consequences will be unimaginable."

Douglas Polk panted heavily
