On watchtowers assembled from stacked shipping containers some distance away, searchlights and barbed wire had also been installed. The place looked practically like a military camp.
Miao Mu even spotted a sentry machine gun hidden beneath a tarp. That thing would automatically open fire if it detected someone, and he could vaguely hear dogs barking inside as well.
"This is Bane's base. She's recruiting troops here and has even started negotiating with some people higher up."
Bala tugged at the hood over her face. The short pointed ears on it could no longer pick up radio signals from the Batcave; Bane had bombarded the Batcave with a grenade launcher.
Yet Wayne Manor had somehow remained largely untouched.
It seemed Bane liked that old-fashioned mansion. Maybe one day, she would move in herself.

Miao Mu did not care about any of that. He merely held up his compact binoculars and watched the fierce-looking female mercenaries inside.
It felt a little strange, but he would get used to it.
"Alright, close your eyes and plug your ears. I don't want anyone disgusting me with their bleeding heart."
Miao Mu pulled out his M500 Revolver, rose to his feet, and headed forward. Why hide? What was there to fear? If he could not win, he would run.
There was no real risk here anyway. Who knew who he was? He would infiltrate head-on and take out everyone who saw him.
"Y-you be careful!" Bala watched Miao Mu rush out. She had no time to stop him and could only call out a warning.
