"Before I decide to kill every last one of you, get back in your coffins, or you'll die horribly!"
A cold, merciless voice rang out from inside the castle. The beastlike vampires around them—
upon hearing that voice, all trembled involuntarily, tucking their tails like stray dogs that had been beaten into submission.
If any liquid could still be squeezed from their shriveled bodies, they would probably have been breaking out in cold sweat and losing control of their bowels.
The voice within the castle was an order, something they could neither resist nor dare to resist.
Thus, before Jason and the others' eyes—
those handsome, elegantly dressed men and women scrambled into the castle on all fours.
One young noble even fell on the stairs. Before he could get back up, the other vampires trampled right over him.
As if they were terrified they would die here the very next second.
The sudden change left Jason and the others staring at one another, utterly confused about what had happened.
But... curiosity could never truly be killed.
"Take a look?" Jason asked, tilting his head.
"Take a look?" Dick tilted his head as well.
"I wouldn't recommend taking a look..." Nashton said helplessly.
"Fat pig..."
"Stupid short-legged pony!"
Dick and Jason immediately flipped Nashton off with both middle fingers, then bounced over to peek inside.
They still did not dare enter. Having only just escaped danger, they were not crazy enough to go looking for something suicidal...
A figure slowly emerged from the castle, carrying something half-dead in one hand.
With a whoosh, the thing was hurled outside.
Bang!
The windshield of the bus before the steps instantly shattered into a spiderweb pattern. Joker lay sprawled across it like a rag doll.
He had passed out in a delirious haze.
