Deathstroke saw it too. Only two words remained in his mind.
We're finished.
Beside him, Victor saw the sheer number of Parademons, along with the precise analysis running through his brain.
Cold sweat nearly broke out across his face. He hurriedly lunged toward the Mother Box. He had a special connection with it and could enter it directly.
He had to find a way to close the passage.
Otherwise, the whole world would be finished!
Victor threw himself forward without hesitation and hugged the Mother Box, as though he were holding an oversized Rubik's Cube.
With energy flowing through his hands, Victor saw the future sensed by the Mother Box: a desert, a wasteland.
A blazing Hell...
And... Darkseid, drawn here by the Anti-Life Equation!
Through the future shown by the Mother Box, Victor met Darkseid's gaze. A strange smile sat on Darkseid's face.
That smile existed for only an instant.
As if Victor had simply seen it wrong.
But in that instant, Victor saw Darkseid's eyes. He was looking at Earth!
The next second, Victor snapped back to his senses.
The Mother Box's passage had been mostly closed, but those "Parademons" had already come after them, intending to reclaim the Mother Box.
"Damn it..."
Barry gritted his teeth and dragged Deathstroke and Victor into a mad sprint.
Victor held the Mother Box tightly in his arms.
The Parademons flying overhead raised their weapons, some kind of special laser cannons, and countless red beams rained down.
They fell from the sky like a magnificent meteor shower.
But to The Flash, it felt like rain—heavy rain, a torrential downpour, a flood about to drown the world.
"Deathstroke, any last wishes?"
The Flash sprinted all the way to an open intersection and stopped. The Parademons could not keep up with his speed.
