In the second match, Li Longyue faced Ye Lingtian.

When Li Longyue stepped onto the arena, the crowd erupted into cheers again.

"Li Longyue! Mountain Dragon King!"

"He beat Whale Fall before! And Whale Fall was level seventy-seven!"

"Ye Lingtian's only level seventy-five. How can he fight him?"

Ye Lingtian stood across the arena, Heaven-Splitting Sword in hand, his gaze cold. Its blade was long and narrow, with serrated patterns along its edge. It was said to tear through any defense.

"Li Longyue, I've heard of you," Ye Lingtian said, his voice ringing out. "Beating Whale Fall was impressive. But I won't give up."

Li Longyue said nothing. He merely watched him.

The referee had barely called the start when Ye Lingtian moved!

His first and third Soul Rings flashed yellow and purple beneath his feet. Heaven-Splitting Sword became a streak of golden light, stabbing straight at Li Longyue's throat!

"First Soul Skill: Heaven-Splitting Slash!"

The strike was swift as lightning. Wherever its glow passed, it tore the air apart with a piercing shriek!

Li Longyue neither dodged nor retreated. He raised his hand and threw a punch!

Ye Lingtian felt as though his sword had struck an immovable cliff ten thousand feet high! The recoil surged back up his arm, numbing the web of his thumb. Heaven-Splitting Sword nearly flew from his hand!

"What?!" Ye Lingtian's pupils contracted!

Li Longyue drew back his fist. Only a faint white mark remained across his knuckles, and it was fading before their eyes.

He looked at Ye Lingtian and said evenly, "Not bad. Again!"

Ye Lingtian's face turned livid!

With a furious roar, he made his fourth and fifth Soul Rings flare purple and black beneath him!
