Debate and Disregard

The straight-line distance between Iwagakure and Konoha wasn't particularly far. Maintaining the fastest speed he could currently endure, Qian took less than half an hour to fly from outside Iwagakure to the outskirts of Konoha.

By then, the sky was only slightly brighter than before.

Qian found a place and landed.

He then easily found an area rarely passed by Konoha's patrols, activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, used the ability of "Ame no Minaka," passed through the Perception Barrier, and entered Konoha.

After that, he hurried home at top speed without stopping.

Without rushing to dispel the Shadow Clone left at home, Qian washed up casually and returned to the bedroom.

Ten straight days of arduous training, combined with last night's journey, had left him utterly exhausted.

The moment he saw the pillow, he practically collapsed into sleep.

Soon, faint snores came from the room.

Seeing this, the Shadow Clone didn't understand what had happened, but it could tell that he was extremely tired.

Thus, it quietly stood guard outside the door, making sure no one disturbed him.

And so, time passed second by second.

Before long, dawn arrived.

But Qian still hadn't woken up.

In fact, it wasn't until noon that hunger roused him.

He opened his eyes groggily and felt his completely empty stomach. After struggling with himself for quite a while, Qian finally forced himself out of bed and walked out of the bedroom.

Seeing the Shadow Clone standing guard at the door, Qian asked, "What time is it?"

"Twelve-thirty."

The Shadow Clone's answer was as concise as ever.

Hearing this, Qian calculated briefly. He had slept for roughly six hours, which was clearly far shorter than his usual sleep when resting.

But there was no way he could go back to bed now.
