After Namikaze Minato became the Fourth Hokage, Qian met Uchiha Shisui and learned that Shisui appreciated his actions against Danzo. Qian then perfected Wind Style: Rasenshuriken and tested it on a deserted island, leaving a huge section of the island destroyed.
