The various comments I'd seen lately had nearly made me cry. It felt like I really had to put out a separate chapter, didn't I??^??

First, let me address the most frequently asked question: why had the protagonist's Soul Body willingly allowed himself to be locked up?

Many people said the protagonist could have told the headmaster about Professor Lore's suspicious behavior. But everyone needed to understand that the protagonist did not have the omniscient perspective that we readers did. He did not know Professor Lore was the culprit; at most, he suspected that Lore had some little secret.

Put yourself in his shoes. If we discovered that one of our neighbors was acting suspiciously, would we immediately connect him to a wanted murderer, or would we merely think he might have some strange habit or secret—like secretly having an affair with the widow next door?

What was more, at the time, the protagonist's Soul Body was merely a ghost who had just arrived at the castle and knew no one. Would the headmaster trust a professor whose background he knew inside and out, or a suspicious ghost he had only just met?

Besides, Ghost Xiwen's main goal was to learn the knowledge within the castle and assist Young Wizard Xiwen. If he wanted to remain in the castle, he had no choice but to follow the headmaster's arrangements. Since it made no difference to the Soul Body where he stayed anyway—it was just changing where he studied—the protagonist himself did not care much about being confined.

On top of that, Helena would stay with Ghost Xiwen during those two months of confinement, and they would grow closer. That counted as another gain for the protagonist.

Now, on to other matters—regarding Kamar-Taj's spells:

From the setting, Kamar-Taj was indeed skilled at borrowing power from various Demon Gods or other powerful beings, meaning borrowing power through dimensions. But we could not overlook its own foundational spells. Such a huge library could not possibly teach mages only how to borrow other people's power.

Besides, what I wrote in the book was that they communicated with magical power through specific methods. I never said it was their own magical power; that magical power could be borrowed. Otherwise, how could a Soul Body with no magical power of its own use so many spells?

Then there was the matter of canon settings:

Quite a few readers had read other fanfics, blindly believed those authors' settings, and then came to tell me that what I wrote was wrong. I was innocent! I had read through the original English novels and the original English Pottermore website. As a genuine canon fan, my understanding of the original work was definitely no worse than that of other fanfic authors.

So before criticizing me, please do a search first. Many things were very easy to verify. (P.S. Many web editors also liked to make things up, so I recommend checking Wikipedia or the official Pottermore website.)

There was also the issue of my writing ability:

This really was my first time writing a long novel, so shortcomings in my writing were inevitable. But I would definitely keep improving and strengthen my abilities as much as possible. I was immensely grateful that all you wonderful readers had the patience to read my book!

Regarding the issues that appeared in my writing:

I really had made some minor mistakes, such as typos, but as long as readers found them and pointed them out, I corrected them diligently! If you spot anything, feel free to tell me. As long as I saw it, I would correct it immediately and do my best not to affect everyone's reading experience.

Last but not least, thank you once again to all the friends who supported me. I truly was very fortunate to have all of you reading my book!

My deepest thanks!!
