Together with Mo Cha, who stubbornly insisted on coming along, the group of over six hundred boarded a massive pitch-black flying ship. They departed from Azurewood Sect's mountain gate and tore through the sky toward the Northern Domain.
This flying ship was an old item from Dark Nether Peak's stores. Its hull was covered in ghostly green Nether patterns, and it flew without a sound, weaving through the clouds like a phantom.
However, just as they crossed the Eastern Domain's border and entered the wasteland stretching between the Eastern Domain and the Northern Domain, trouble came knocking.
It was deep in the night when the flying ship swept over a coniferous forest.
Suddenly, Mo Cha rose from beside the rail, his gaze fixed rigidly on the dense woods below.
Before he could sound a warning, three black shadows shot out from the forest. They were so fast that they tore sharp sonic booms through the air.
One went straight for Mo Cha, while the other two attacked Qin Baili and Li Chuan separately. The three worked in perfect coordination; they were clearly no ordinary Rogue Cultivators or Marauding Cultivators.
Moreover, the attackers were wrapped in black mist, their faces impossible to make out.
Only pairs of cold, sinister eyes could vaguely be seen in the darkness.
