Wood-Element Deity, Creation.
Human-faced and bird-bodied, it bore Four-Season Flowerwood Wings upon its back.
Its left wing was spring's blooming flowers, its right wing summer's dense leaves.
When its wings spread, countless tiny petals and leaves fell through the void, every one containing the purest Creation Vitality.
It stood upon the phantom of an Azure Dragon and held a brush with a wooden branch for a shaft and beast hair for bristles.
Twenty-four lightwheels circled its body, corresponding to the twenty-four solar terms.
Beginning of Spring, Rain Water, Awakening of Insects, Spring Equinox, Clear and Bright, Grain Rain—within every lightwheel, the power of a solar term circulated without end.
Then came the Water-Element Deity, Guixu.
Human-faced and serpent-bodied, it wore armor of Profound Water dragon scales and a black-jade Heaven-Piercing Crown.
In its left hand, it held a constantly rotating Eye of the Guixu Sea.
The sea eye was only the size of a fist, yet it emitted a terrifying suction force capable of swallowing an entire ocean.
The space around the sea eye had been twisted by its pull into rings of spiraling ripples.
A pitch-black Blackwater Dark Serpent coiled beneath its feet. Behind it lay the vast phantom of Northern Darkness, where seawater rose and fell, and the shadows of enormous fish could vaguely be seen silently swimming through it.
Next came the Fire-Element Deity, Reform.
Beast-bodied and human-faced, it wore a Lihuo Robe.
Two earrings as slender as fire serpents hung from its ears.
It rode two fire dragons, which wound around the deity's body.
It held a strange candle in both hands. Its flame was no larger than a bean, so weak it seemed it could be extinguished at any moment, yet it had never gone out.
Whenever the flame flickered, a ring of lights would
