The enormous black shadow wrapped in Four Colors lightning was, astonishingly, a Thunder Dragon with only its upper body.
Though it had only an upper body, it was at least thirty zhang long by visual estimate. Its body was as thick as a millennium-old cypress that ten men could barely encircle. Pitch-black dragon scales overlapped tightly, each as large as a millstone, their surfaces glimmering with dark-purple flowing light.
Dragons normally had two horns, yet this half-bodied Thunder Dragon possessed only a single horn, roughly three zhang long and dark silver throughout.
The horn was covered in spiral patterns, its tip flashing with razor-sharp brilliance.
Its silver dragon whiskers stretched several zhang, every strand distinct as they drifted with its breathing.
Every dragon whisker was entwined with threads of lightning. The slightest tremble made the surrounding lightning resonate.
The Thunder Dragon's head was incomparably huge, comparable to a small mountain.
Its lantern-sized dragon eyes were tightly shut, making it impossible to see what lay within.
Yet the occasional wisp that leaked out scorched fine cracks into the air.
Its breathing was heavy and prolonged. Every breath drove the lightning vortex into violent rotation, while the currents it exhaled carried black lightning and blue vapor.
Most shocking of all were its forelimbs. Its thick dragon claws were incomparably sharp, their tips gleaming coldly. Though its talons were covered in cracks left by the passage of time, they still exuded the terrifying force to crush mountains between them.
Its lower body, meanwhile, had been abruptly severed below the waist. The wound was wrapped in thick lightning, and lightning slurry and watery vapor could vaguely be seen flowing within.
Clearly, this Thunder Dragon had likely suffered grievous wounds that had yet to heal.
Yet even with only its upper body remaining, it still
