"A substitute? No wonder they looked so alike." Hua Yunfei understood. So this Blood Robed Man was Jiang Ruoyao's substitute. No wonder he knew Jiang Ruoyao's divine abilities and Dao arts.
Jiang Ruoyao stepped out of spacetime, slender and graceful, scarlet hair draped over her shoulders. Her blood-red eyes fixed on Hua Yunfei. "Have you considered it? I don't have much patience."
Hua Yunfei smiled. "This scene is rather peculiar. I never expected that you and I would one day face each other with blades drawn."
Jiang Ruoyao said coldly, "Stop talking nonsense. Submit or die!"
Hua Yunfei said, "If I..."
Before he could finish, his eyes widened as Jiang Ruoyao's figure rapidly enlarged in his pupils.
"Pfft!"
The Crimson Slaughter Sword pierced through Hua Yunfei's chest, nailing him in the void as blood stained that stretch of space red.
"Brother Fei!" Little Tower cried out.
"I'm fine." Hua Yunfei shook his head. Looking at Jiang Ruoyao so close before him, he smiled. "If Yao Yao wants to hit me, then let her. Could I possibly fight back?"
Jiang Ruoyao frowned, narrowing her eyes. She slowly twisted the Crimson Slaughter Sword, continually churning it inside Hua Yunfei's body as blood sprayed without end.
Hua Yunfei's expression remained unchanged. He continued smiling at Jiang Ruoyao. "If you wake up someday, remember this: it isn't your fault. I deliberately didn't dodge. Don't blame yourself in secret."
Drip. Drip.
Blood ran down the Crimson Slaughter Sword, dyeing vast stretches of the void red.
Yet Jiang Ruoyao showed no intention of stopping. She continued twisting the Crimson Slaughter Sword, destroying all of Hua Yunfei's internal organs before finally raising her sword toward his head.
Clang!
With an explosive bang, Little Tower shrank and blocked the attack for Hua Yunfei. It looked anxiously at him.
